This experience was really quite unbelievable. It was our first time here. When we went to get our food from the buffet everything was on the last cold stale scraps, they were not refreshing any of the food because they didn't have many customers. We got ourselves a plate of old scraps hoping it would be refreshed with hot new food soon (It didn't, even after asking). It gets worse... They had a small baby running round the place (probably just under 2 years old), she was cute and we were saying hello but she was putting a nerf gun and all its bullets in her mouth then dropping them on our table right next to our food covered in dribble...noone was supervising her nor the older boy child or just came and started reloading the nerf gun at our table. Hang on..it gets worse...
I go to the restroom, 2 were out of order and the 3rd didn't have a lock...so I rush back to get my 4 year old girl to come with me so she can hold the door closed whilst I go but this 2 year old baby is crawling on the floor in the toilets picking up bits of scrap toilet tissue from the floor with her tiny fists and crawling under the bathroom stalls. She starts pulling at my door from the other side yanking it out of my little girls hand who is trying to keep pulling on it shut. I yell for her to stop and go out the bathroom as I'm really quite embarased but she starts crawling under my door. I call my daughter's dad to come help and he picks the baby up and takes it to the staff in the kitchen, they put the baby down and it runs right back to me under the bathroom stall again. I'm screaming to please stop, my little girl can hardly keep the door closed because it's harder pulling it than it is for the little girl pushing it the other side. It was all pretty horrendous and weird. I go out and complain about the baby crawling around in the toilets and coming into my stall and pulling the door open whilst I'm on the toilet and they just smile and say yes we're always trying to get her to stop doing that. I was shocked at their response...is this not a restaurant? She's crawling on the floor in the toilets, picking up bacteria ridden items and then touching people's tables whilst they're eating. It's just horrendous and I'm really hoping I'm not going to get ill in a few days from this. And WHAT KIND OF PARENT ALLOWS THIS FOR THEIR BABY? that baby is going to get seriously ill and noone is watching...
Read moreWe went there around 2:45 July 12 so late for a Buffett .My parents had started to go to the buffet while I had to use the restroom. My first critique the washroom door does not lock and isn't very clean. Second critique I walked out and looked at the buffet and it was all old dried up but apparently they said they would make some new stuff they made peppered beef it was ok and broccoli beef it was ok but broccoli wasn't cooked enough, then they brought noodles out and put new food over old food the noodles tasted ok but they were contaminated by the old ,they said they'd make more wontons for the soup however they were definitely old the pork inside had gone sour and the broth was bad the actual wrapper was all broken off which is a sign of them getting dried out in the fridge or freezer once they have been assembled. I Complained and the waitress brought out the cook or manager not sure, I explained food safe to him which he clearly seemed quite confused. I watched the waitress put the noodles they'd made over old noodles which contaminated the new noodles and there remedy was to move the fresh noodles aside to scrape the old out. There were four of us eating I had the hot and sour soup it was ok but everything seemed pretty questionable to the food poisoning level. He said he would give us 15 % of four lunch buffets. He asked if that was fair and I said absolutely not. I said we'd pay for two meals at the most and two pops and they gave us 15,%off When we went to pay they tried to charge us dinner prices but I had that promptly corrected. It still ended up costing almost 40$ for this sub standard contaminated food People be warned they don't even follow Canadian food safe! And to top it off they have no air conditioning but. Applause to the waitress who brought a little fan over to our table ! If I could give all zeros I would! Accept for the fan...
Read moreYIKES!!! If I could give negative stars this would get -10 for sure!! 2 of us went for the dinner buffet. It started at 4 pm, we arrived at 4:45. There was not a sole in the place but yet the food was old, cold and any of the meat dishes were so tough it was like trying to chew through shoe leather. It did not matter which item we tried, it was COLD and flavorless. The restaurant itself was absolutely filthy, our table gave the appearance of being clean yet as we sat our sleeves stuck to what ever that was left behind from the poor last group of diners. the server came over, her hair was a mess all over the place, she was wearing a grubby tshirt and dirty filthy track pants. why has this place not been shut down??? As we were sitting another gentleman had come in. The sat him and walked away, this poor guy spent 10 minutes trying to get anyones attention to get just a simple glass of water. As that not 1 of us could get through a single dish we decided to just leave and eat someplace else. As we went to pay, we were not asked how everything was ( Im assuming they already know and simply dont ask). We were sure to tell them how disgusting it was and that we did not eat ANY portion of the food that we attempted to try, the girl then rang up the total bill for the 2 dinners.....we asked :" Im sorry, but we just told you how unhappy we were with the food and that we did not eat ANYTHING AT ALL , we told her she could go look at the plates on the table to verify this. We asked her why we were being charged for full price for the buffet when all we really did was drink half a glass of water? Her response: " Im sorry but I have to charge you that, Im in training and they didnt tell me what else to do" We asked for a manager and were just dismissed and told " there isnt one here" I would not feed this food to my...
