Osmow's Shawarma — Restaurant in Lethbridge

I have no idea what these other reviews are talking about to the point that I'd say that it must be the employees/friends of the owners who have been asked to review. I almost never review places, but the fact that there aren't any

[UPDATED] I don’t typically add a review to a rating when I rate it a one star unless it is so bad that people need to be warned. However this time, after leaving a rating Osmow’s replied to my rating asking for a review to know why I rated it only one star, so here it is.

The “half and half chicken shawarma” was flavourless compared to other Osmow’s I’ve tried. There was lots of cartilage in the chicken (or something else with the same mouth feel and taste). The proportions were also nearly half of other Osmow’s, nearly every other Osmow’s I’ve been to loads every size up so much that the garlic sauce is all smooshed on the top of the container, and they don’t just load up the rice/fries they load up the protein.

I was excited to hear an Osmow’s was built in Lethbridge after having it all the time when I lived in Ontario. Unfortunately the location here was a real let down. Maybe someone else that has never had the good stuff would say this place is amazing, unfortunately I cannot because I know what the Osmow’s Shawarma branded Shawarma is supposed...

Tbh it is sub par at best. Food served at room temp. Soaked in sauce and the meat isn't anything great. I've eaten at many shawarma places and I'd say this was prob the lowest on my list in terms of quality, authenticity, and price. 4 of us ate, but didn't finish our meals. Wasn't worth leftovers. Not sure about all these reviews. I'd say most are probably fake or these people are clueless when it comes to this food. I guess lethbridge really doesn't have many options so, I suppose it's maybe better then the same ol same ol. Or is it ? The guy working was friendly, basic customer service. The female had zero emotion and zero smile, said nothing to us and looked like she would rather be elsewhere. Question. The pics are not smothered in sauce, so why was ours swimming in it ? There was more sauce then meat !!!!. Unfortunately we won't be going back and won't recommend. Note there was 4 of us who dined in, and this was pretty much the feeling...
