Taco Del Mar — Restaurant in Lethbridge

Taco Del Mar is one of the few places that is still affordable to eat at. I often want to just eat something simple and cheap for around $10-$15 maximum rather than go to some other restaurant and spend like $25. It's a place that I can eat as often as I want at without any worries, and I do eat quite a bit!

There are so many things to appreciate about their food. It's simple, healthy, not greasy, and I have never had any upset stomach problems. Ever since I became allergic to milk it's been hard to find a place to eat, but I can always come here and leave without gut-wrenching pain no problem. I can even come with my family members who have gluten intolerance. It's super hard to think of places to eat that offer both dairy free and gluten free options that are affordable and taste okay!

Their fresh guacamole that they make at the restaurant is my favourite.

We went for dinner yesterday (pick up) I - during a time when the pandemic is out of control in Alberta, we anticipated the business taking protocol seriously. Unfortunately, this was far from accurate. Upon arrival, we saw two maskless teenagers in the store, despite the sign on the door indicating masks are mandatory. The brazen teens were in there for over twenty minutes while we waited to order outside. Finally, I called the restaurant. The young girl acknowledged they have a mask policy, said sorry, and hung up. We left, and will not be going back. I tried a fish, beef, and chicken soft taco with various toppings and salsa's. The flavors were authentic and everything was fresh. The only downside is that they wrap a warm item in foil which causes moisture to build up and the soft taco shell ended up falling apart. The fish also lost its crisp. It was extremely messy and soggy. The liquid in the salsa's did not help either. I would give them a five stars if they...
