Visiting from Toronto. Ordered from this place as was told it is the best sushi in the area. I have never seen or tasted worst sushi in my life. The rolls were all filled with hard sticky rice and barely any toppings. We ordered one of the platters with sashimi and there were 3 pieces of salmon (very low grade quality/the way it was sliced was not sushi like at all). The presentation was horrible, too bad I didn’t take any pictures because I don’t usually write reviews, but looking at the receipt next morning, I noticed that we weren’t even given the extra rolls we ordered - that’s how bad the sushi were we couldn’t even tell apart which was which. Ordered shrimp tempura and avocado roll for kids and there was so much extra tempura inside that it just looked like bread crumbs all over the plate, even the tempura batter was nothing like I experience before. We got 3 plastic containers (not even round platters) and had 2 dime size balls of wasabi in 2 of the 3 containers. Definitely not enough. Something is way off about the place! Would never go back and I can’t believe all the good reviews for this place, people must have never...

I waited to post my review until I ordered from here a second time, to give them a chance instead of beating them down on the fist go. I read the reviews and thought this was the best place for me to try. First time was after the first wave and restaurants opened so we wanted to support. BUT our wait was almost 2 hours for something they said would take 45mins. it took 3 calls, being hung up on 2 times and waiting on hold for 8 mins while you could here people in the background. it was chaotic and unorganized. The food was messy, and falling apart, the taste was not great.... the bags sticky with sauce and bits of food. I ordered for my birthday on Saturday and it was worst than the first time I redialed 18 times, hung up on a few times and then finally got through, when the order came home it was disgusting! STICKY, FOOD ALLOVER THE BAGS, SLOPPY-SOGGY ROLLS THAT WERE FALLING APART. They did not taste good at all.... I tried to make it look presentable because I had a guest coming and we were online as well. but we ended up throwing away half of the order. I will not order...

First time ordering from this place (we used UberEats.) We ordered 2 seafood miso soups ($4.50 each) but only received 1. UberEats said they would refund us 1 soup, so that’s solved. However, soup was TOO SALTY and murky and we had trouble drinking it. Only one shrimp and a few pieces of salmon. 2 tiny pieces of green onion, no seaweed. TINY soup portion. See photo. Guess it was a good thing that they forget to send us a second soup. We also ordered a 40 piece combo: the deep fried dragon eye sushi was colder than the room temperature sushis. There was cucumber and this super thick deep fried batter (tempura batter?) in 90% of all the rolled pieces of sushi!!! So much for variety!! They all tasted similar. We hated the taste of the tempura in the sushi, they were large chewy chunks and reminded us of soggy cereal. Sushis were rolled loosely. The only thing we liked was the Salmon spring maki roll in rice paper. That was EXCELLENT. The rest was...

Best sushi I ever had in my life

Although quite a bit more expensive than a lot of other sushi places, the quality of the food and the unique selection of sushi makes up for quite a lot of the price difference. The Chef's special includes a lot of distinctive combinations which remarkably work well together. The quality of the ingredients were also great which made the whole experience that much more enjoyable. The wasabi and the soya sauce on the other hand weren't my cup of tea, the wasabi was really pale in colour and didn't have that strong of a taste while the soya sauce was a bit too salty. If you don't mind spending a bit more on the food, this is definitely a good place to try more unique sushis.
