Big Red's Poutine — Restaurant in Maple Ridge

I tried to order online but the site would not work. Drove there and, although the menu is just 8 different flavors of poutine, they didn't have the one I wanted. Chose from what they had available, the menu on the screen was super hard to read. Was told that would be ready in 5 minutes, I timed over 20 minutes waiting - on a poutine! Family that order after me got their order before me, which I think is pretty unfair. After the waiting, thought I would enjoy the sausage poutine, but when I got home, my surprise: not a single piece of meat. I'll assume they got my order wrong, which is remarkable since they didn't look very busy at all. Overall very disappointing, would not come back and would not recommend. Way overpriced for what you're getting. Costco poutine is 4 times cheaper and 5 times faster, and tastes pretty much the same. 2 stars go for friendly service and the poutine was not bad, it was nothing...

Absolutely ridiculous. Went during berry fest in Abbotsford. Only 3 customers. Yet guy in front of me got his food immediately (regular poutine.) I ordered buffalo chicken AND regular and got my buffalo but no regular. During this time the front couple were asking where their food was and they were still waiting while others getting their orders. At that point (been waiting a while) wanted a refund and to go but the truck chasier and boss seemed to have no idea what they were doing.

I watched new ppl come up and get same thing I ordered and was waiting on. Asked where my other poutine was and they acted confused and had no idea what was going on PLUS terrible treatment of the other couple waiting on their refund.

We went to a local craft fair and Big Reds was there. First time ordering from them. We got an order of fries and gravy and two orders of chicken strip poutine. Can’t screw that up right? Well it was gross. Both orders of the chicken strip poutine was burnt!! Not just a tad over cooked but it was black. The chicken strip was diced up and put on the fries. It was not even 1 chicken strip per poutine. We tried peeling off the burnt batter of the chicken strip but the whole meal now had a burnt taste. 12$ an order and not even a full chicken strip. Not enough gravy to cover the fries or melt the cheese curds. Clearly the deep fryer has not been changed in a while. Not worth it. Won’t...
