I was chatting with a friend about how the service has been feeling cold and unwelcoming for a while now, no friendly greetings, no effort to even smile, It’s just: take your drink and go.

My latest disappointment.. I ordered The Nut Latte, a latte I’ve enjoyed for Years, but what I received was watery and completely lacking foam. I don’t even go to Tim Hortons because I genuinely appreciate a crafted latte made with finesse, but this one sadly reminded me of something you'd pick up at a drive-thru not a at least $8 latte.

I politely asked the barista why my latte had no foam, because mistakes happen something could have been off, and instead of addressing the concern, she insisted I was mistaken and confused it with a 'flat white'. I’ve been ordering lattes for years, I know what they should look and taste like. Yes, they have foam. Often even latte art. But she continued dismissing my point and explaining why I was wrong and talking about over frothing and burnt milk.. what? Stop. Lol

At that point, I didn’t have the energy to argue, the taste was okay and I extremely hate wasting people's time, my time and food. So I drank my sad latte. I was just hoping for a well-made drink and a peaceful moment. Unfortunately, this confirmed that it’s time to say goodbye to what was once one of my favorite local spots in Maple Ridge:( I shared a picture of my sad latte. And a reminder of what a true well made latte should actually look like. Hope it saves...

Nice and quaint little coffee shop in the heart of downtown Maple Ridge. Nice that we finally get some local shops here that look very cozy and welcoming. My husband and I came here to get some lattes to go, but the space looks quite nice and cozy if you wanna stick around for a bit with your laptop.

We ordered our lattes with regular milk, but I heard what's exceptional here are the plant-based milk lattes. Nonetheless, our lattes were made to perfection. They certainly froth the milk just to the right temperature for the silkiest and sweetest consistency. Wait times are also very reasonable.

What we find this place is lacking is more options for baked goods. They have the usual suspect like scones and cookies. Then they have some bowls, wraps, yogurt, etc. In their cold display. But overall, the bite options are somewhat limited. I think they're definitely coffee-focused and there's nothing wrong with that.

They also carry other local, small-biz merch in their store. All and all, we'll definitely come back to try their other...

My friend and I were looking for place to sit, have coffee and chat. Then she remember somebody mentioned to her this place. We decided to give it a try and this turned to be a mistake. We ordered coffees and bought some treats. We sat down waiting for a coffee. When coffees were ready only then we were informed that they are closing in 15 minutes as they have shorter opening hours today, something she never mentioned when we were putting order in. If we knew that we would just found different place. When we said that this should be mentioned when we were putting order, girl's working there attitude was far from proper customer service. Her suggestion was that we could go to courtyard to have our coffee. "Great suggestion" while it was raining and quite cold. We are not going back there ever again with this kind of customer service. On the other note cookies we ordered weren't quality which would make us want to go back...

I wish I had a great experience as others did. I came into the store on a Friday morning for a latte and breakfast. The store had a cute set up, it was small but not busy. I had no one in line after me. I ordered a matcha latte and it was not great. I drank about half of it and unfortunately threw the rest out. There was no volume to the latte, maybe there was a lot of matcha, but I make better lattes at home with my nespresso milk frother. I ordered a muffin and it was individually packaged with plastic and it was quite dense. All baked goods in the store were individually packaged.
