We all know this won't change. I'm being told by staff this is something that has been done by these ladies for MANY years & there has been no correction up until this point. CLEARLY I do not foresee it ever happening, if this entitled behavior has been allowed to happen all these years by staff at your establishment. If you really want to make a change, then these individuals need to know & it needs to be enforced, thay they cannot do this any longer. This is not fair to those who had to stand there for 30 min only to be bullied out of our spot.

Overall, I like this bingo hall, though I drive half hour to get to it.

What I don't like is entitlement of players that go there. What's worse is that Chances Casino allows this.

You should not be allowed to put books or dabbers on chairs in place where people stand to buy cards, as a way of saving a spot.

I was unaware this is a thing that these regulars do every day & no one said anything to me while I stood at the front over 30 min. Only 5 min before cards sales sere to start a bunch of ladies approached me & told "You're behind all 10 of us that put our stuff on the chairs to save our spot in line, you need to ho to the back"

As you can imagine that didn't go over well with me. What made me the angriest is that they all sat there and knew that I was standing in line for over 30 minutes waiting and didn't say a word to me then but waited until right before card sales to tell me to get in the back. Had they come to me kindly and said this is what we do we're always here blah blah blah I would have went and sat down. But because I stood there for 30 minutes I wasn't moving. As you can imagine this caused a little bit of a ruckus with the ladies having one of them even yell in my face saying "I hope you lose all your money today and don't win anything" I'm sure she probably felt a certain way, cuz I won 4x that day lol

Anyways just PSA, if anyone wants to go to this bingo hall, do not stand at front thinking you're going to purchase your tickets 1st, because you will have a flock of vultures coming to attack you!

Feels like you are visiting a Revenue Canada office with Christmas lights... where some of the staff seem beaten down, checked out, void of charisma... Not uncommon of most smaller BC Casino's, or really all of them gleaning, glaring, with the management just focused on counting your money, now theirs.

Does anyone in their management get it? That their whole operation is missing the point and cognizance of what the customer experience can be about AT A CASINO.

Wouldn't it be nice if the vibe had some kick... like go go dancing, or some unique substance or innovative things related to casino culture, or a style or comfort related to the experience... beyond slapping in a fakeyass fireplace. And imagine if the beverages were actually reasonably priced, and not so gougy, how more people might come and burn more $. But nope.

So face it, there's more excitement at a laundromat and better value at a strip club. And at least you feel good & clean after the laundering and get to support the arts with your $ at the latter, even if it's a lil...
