Order number 37 fathers day. Misses the mark. Doesn't hit the spot. Cheaped out on the meat quality and not enough flavour. As in the cha siu doesn't have sauce, the Portuguese sauce chicken baked rice; chicken barely grilled or fried the rice wasn't fried and sauce was bland. Salt isn't that expensive come on! Fried wonton is good but anything fried is good and if you mess that up then shouldn't be in business. Thousand island sauce pork chop is thinly sliced and not big pieces and has tendon in it not the best but pass. Xo seafood was heavy on the veggies not enough seafood also very bland needs more xo and salt and celary is old so very fibrous. The rice quality is below stand too.. food court style. It is very close and convenient and lots of selection on the menu though and portion is decent and average standards and reasonable for the price especially nowadays... it is better than the "Canteen" restaurant it replaced. Overall lots of cost cutting and hiding what potential it has. Hope this is just temporary cus it be a good spot for a quick bite. More wok hay! Less tau...
Read moreCalled to order take out and placed an order. Went to pick up the order and the lady (who also took the order) points to a bag and takes my money and gives me change. I take the bag she pointed to and leave after getting my change. As I start to drive off, she calls me and yells at me on the phone saying I took the wrong bag. Apparently mine wasn't even ready yet but she never mentioned this, nor did she mention I was taking the wrong bag. I turn around and politely return the wrong takeout bag in which the lady proceeds to yell at me loudly in the restaurant, essentially blaming me as the customer for making the mistake.
In what world do you blame the customer when the restaurant was the one that made the mistake? Even if it was a mistake by the customer, the audacity to yell at your customers is totally wrong. They were not apologetic at all and in fact expected me to be.
She is lucky I did not feel like arguing back with her in Cantonese. Will avoid at all costs from now on. Food is mediocre but will be willing to pay double before supporting this...
Read moreThe level of this restaurant’s horrendous service attitude is beyond imagination. I walked in at 12:00 PM, and the restaurant wasn't really busy at all. I saw some waitresses, but only one approached me with a lifeless tone, asking, "One person?" She then told me to take any seat, but her manner was very commanding and rude.
After I chose a table, a middle-aged waitress came over and commanded me to move to a very small one-person seat without saying please, claiming it was a busy time, but there were only a few customers, and many seats were available. Her tone was harsh and commanding. I left immediately! This restaurant literally drives customers away.
