Hero Tea Markham ( Langham Square) — Restaurant in Markham

Unique tea shop with far out names for some of their drinks and a lot of drinks that are different than the competitors.

I wanted something creamy and sweet and I got the hero earth milk tea which is a snow topped one, meaning it came with cream and walnuts.

It totally hit the spot. The cream on every sip made it extra milk and creamy which is what I was feeling for. Tea was of high quality taste and I’m excited to try more drinks from them

Service was great. Person helping me out explained the drinks as good as possible. I think it was tough for the person to explain as it may have been a la gauge barrier but you could see she was trying, which is always a great sign for me.

Got my drink fairly quickly even with a small lineup.

Parking is in a lot that gets filled up quickly, so be patient waiting for a spot above ground. There’s also an underground plaza which can get crazy, but there are a fair bit of spots

Would totally recommend trying them out.

**“I don’t usually try new things, but I noticed this shop has been opening a lot of new branches lately, so I decided to give it a try. Since bubble tea isn’t exactly cheap, I always hope that whatever I get will at least be decent.

There were lots of drink options, and the shop’s decor was really nice. This time I tried the Peach Oolong Fresh Milk Tea, but it was pretty disappointing. The biggest letdown was the pearls — they were super not fresh, mushy and falling apart, like they’d been sitting out for a long time.

The tea itself was okay. Oolong isn’t supposed to be very strong anyway, and the light peach flavor was acceptable. I don’t like drinks that are too sweet, but with only 30% sugar, it felt a bit too bland.

I asked for less ice, but the drink ended up having almost none at all, so it just tasted really watery.

I’ve tried a variety of their drinks before — mango sago, tangy lemon tea, and crème brûlée milk tea. Unfortunately, they all lacked flavor and were quite bland, especially in terms of tea aroma. The mango drink was lacking in the real fruit component, making it underwhelming overall.

I decided to give them another chance due to their current promotion for a 5-star review. This time, I ordered the Jasmine milk tea with tapioca, less ice. Sadly, the drink was lukewarm and the tapioca was hard in the center. The overall product experience was disappointing and disheartening, especially since I was genuinely hoping things...
