HKS BBQ is found in the food court area of the plaza. Line ups can be long during peak periods. The food is reliably good with the roast pork and roast duck my favourites. The meat selections on rice come with some cabbage and you will be asked if you would like sauce to be added and either soup or tea. As of November 2, 2021, prices of most combos are now $8+tax, which is an increase of about a dollar over the previous price. It's still a genuinely good value for the consistent high quality and quantity they provide. If you have not tried Chinese style roast pork or duck or other items, this is a great place to do so. Friend recommended me to try this place during my Toronto visit - and I'm go glad i did.

Located in the food court of First Markham Place - so there was plenty of parking available - not really sure on transit friendly, as I toke a Uber Lol.

Basically you'll see two line-ups in this food court , my friend called it team red and team yellow, and they honestly both seemed equally as popular, prices were near identical.

It is in a food court, so note the noise levels, however tables seemed to be spread nicely. - Note Cash only - there is a ATM nearby if needed.

Combo meal for $10 ? - YES PLEASE - generous portions and it was so delicious. Roast pork had a nice crisp to it, soft pork with just enough fat to it - and no where close to overly salty. BBQ pork was sauced and flavored nicely. Had such a nice red glow to it.

There are only two places that cause line ups at this food court. If you're facing the store fronts, this is the one on the left. The line went quickly with almost 1 customer/2 mins. My husband and I shared the 4 item combo with BBQ duck, roasted pork, range chicken, and salted egg. Portion size was enough to feed the both of us. There was a lot of flavour throughout the dish which complemented well with the white rice.

Not only did this dish make our bellies full, it kept our wallets full for costing less than $15 including tax (if you didn't bring cash, I remember passing an ATM somewhere in the mall)!
