Tucked away in the Gal's Sushi plaza (behind Gal's Sushi) at Warden and Highway 7.

My friend ordered a 6 pc assorted box of mochi bubbles to try for dessert on a saturday evening.

Chestnut matcha: I've been eating stronger and stronger matcha over the years so my tolerance/preference for DARK matcha is very high. So while university me would've said this was good, it was too light on the matcha flavour for me (the chestnut flavour also wasn't very pronounced).

Mango grapefruit: My goodness. This one was my runaway favourite. If I ever come back I might ONLY order this one. The flavour was super pronounced and deep. The cream was nicely balanced.

Strawberry rose: Again, not that strong. The scent was very florally and the cross section was super pretty (great for IG) but the flavour could've been stronger. I do think it places 2nd behind the mango grapefruit though.

Coconut latte: The most mid one in my opinion. It literally tasted like a cream puff. The coconut taste was LIGHT as hell. It tasted like something I could've whipped up at home.

Bubble tea: The tapiocas in the middle made this one taste a lil too ooey goeey for me simply because the mochi is already kinda chewy and then when you add tapioca into the inside mix, it starts to get a lil weird texturally inside your mouth (maybe it's just me). Flavour was like milk tea flavoured.

Taro salted egg yolk: Very unique flavour and in my top 3 after mango and strawberry prolly. I thought it would be weird eating salted yolk in its non-molten liquid form inside a dessert. This lil pocket changed my perception. Salted egg yolk tastes quite nice cold haha.

I definitely think I should've swapped out coconut latte or the bubble tea flavour for the oreo chocolate flavour. The chocolate sponge in that one would've undoubtedly had a stronger flavour.

At $31.99 for a box of 6, these desserts are definitely not worth it. But every so often if you want to indulge go ahead! I would only come here once in a blue moon. Because of the quality of the mochi bubbles, I'll...

Had a terrible experience here. My group ordered 3 mochi ice cream and 3 drinks with 1 pair of customer in front of us. We placed in the order at the cash. Cashier were confused about the order so we’ve repeated slowly 3 times and point at the order that we want on the menu. Once the enter is placed in and paid. We were not given a receipt which is normal for most Chinese owners stores.

The lady who called out the mochi ice cream by name so we took the order. After called out another mochi ice cream name. We assume it’s our but the group before us ordered too so there were some confusion. Why can’t the staff give out order number. There was one mochi ice cream missing. Then when they give us the drink. Two drink orders were wrong and we informed the staff half of our order was wrong. The tried to denied their mistake and we asked to show us the bill and we have to repeat ourselves several times for the correct order. In between the lady stopped us because she have to take a phone call and take other customers order.

This is totally wrong. Lack of training. Lack of attention to customer order. Lack of ability to resolve customers issue in a timely and professional manner.

Beside that mochi ice cream is not that great. The drinks are pretty bad for its price.

I would strongly suggest anyone to avoid this place. Only go there if you have too much money and...

I read many reviews saying this place has bad management, and confusing service, but I decided upon myself to see if this was correct. I am sad to say these reviews are all correct. Upon entering this establishment with an ambient temperature of 33-35 degrees outside, it was 40 degrees inside this small store as they decided to leave the door open for some reason. When we ordered, she had to manually type in our order, letter by letter (not a good sign). We waited 23 minutes for our order 3 mochi wraps and 2 mochi bubbles (immediately packed), although there was a long time up before us of about 6 people. They give you a receipt but they just call out what the items are, so there is no order in which you take your order. People who have just ordered are taking other people’s orders which have been waiting for 20 minutes, all in all, just a mess. The mochi wraps were also just ok, they had a lot of elasticity, but the gelato ice cream inside was subpar, well below mediocre, incomparable to actual gelato stores or even gelato I had at a pizza store this one time. The mochi bubbles were creamy inside, not my style of food, but not bad. I would recommend trying it as food reviews can be biased, but unfortunately I will not be coming back here. Waiting 23 minutes in a store that is 40 degrees, packed, and orders that can get stolen from you, just not a...

Ordered online for their strawberry jelly cake to be picked up at 430pm on new year. I arrived and line up around 4:15pm and my cake wasn’t ready (still being made) and they need another 15mins, which was understandable as I was early. The cake was pretty sad looking. Lacked strawberries at the top. It was disappointing that the strawberries were diced up rather than cut in halves like the picture but they could have filled the gap. We had the cake around 830pm (Cake was in the fridge the entire time so the mochi doesn’t melt) the strawberries and filling were still abit frozen and was mistaken as ice cream. I also bought mochi bubbles when I was in the store. I ordered durian, matcha, strawberry, and milk tea but I was given mango instead. Mango was my least favourite; tasted artificial like candy. I thought matcha was the best. Overall, I probably wouldn’t return again or atleast visit when theyre not busy. The shop was small and they were overwhelmed. Perhaps when they have a 3rd person to handle their online/mobile orders the store would operate more smoothly

I had the pleasure of being invited to Savorology to experience their latest masterpiece, the Mont-Blanc Parfait. This dessert featured homemade Matcha Gelato, Wafer Flakes, and a generous heap of Chestnut Paste, creating a literal matcha madness with a perfect balance of sweetness. Alongside, I enjoyed a refreshing Matcha Float topped with creamy vanilla gelato. The best part? Everything is crafted in-house, ensuring top-notch quality. Savorology boasts an impressive array of Japanese desserts, including mille crepes, mochi, and even durian-flavoured treats, making it a sweet yet not overly sweet paradise. The staff were attentive and ensured a delightful experience from start to finish. While the overall experience was fantastic, a slight downside was the limited seating, which made it a bit challenging to find a spot during peak hours. However, this is a minor inconvenience compared to the quality of desserts and service provided. I highly recommend Savorology for anyone looking to indulge in authentic, delicious Japanese desserts. kellychan360
