Not impressed, place should be called wait burger, cause all you do is wait. Took 15 mins in line up to even place a order, there's only 1 cash register. Doesn't help you can't even hear what the girl taking the orders is saying or communicating at this place. Kids crying and screaming all over the place. Took another 25 mins to finally get our food that felt like a horrid hour, we opted to wait outside since I was getting a migraine with the noise level and lack of parental common sense. I was hoping the food was going to save this review and be worth the aggravation of checking this place out but the beef patties are pretty burnt but at least the meat quality was good and still moist after picking off the charred edges. Pickles was all on one side of the burger, actually surprisingly seen more effort at McDonald's. We won't be coming back. There's a way better smash burger joint just down the road that gets your orders out in a timely manner with way more seating including the central order and pickup area is not crammed together for a pickpockets paradise. One of the owners on shift does seem to care and trying his best but whoever designed the layout of the place needs to have some simple common sense like why would you place the garbage bins across the room at the order lineup for people to brush through with dirty trays to get to them?...
Read moreI remember these guys from when they used to be on fincham. So happy they got another location for these great smash burgers
Got the Oklahoma burger and my daughter got the Cali classic. Patties were juicy and nicely seasoned.
The smash fries are a must. The sauce they drench the fries in was so good.
Also with the craze for dirty sodas, so nice to see them taking on the trend and giving nice flavours. They do mix it for you but do wish we could see the pre mix product for the gradient of the drink.
Service was on point. Was helped by a young man and he was super friendly and very helpful. He had a charisma to his demeanor giving off very good customer service.
They also have a dessert bar called salt & sugar which has some really cool treats to go with coffee. Looks like they have cheesecake on a stick, ice cream from kawartha, waffle pop & mini pancakes and they also have the Dubai strawberry cups.
Parking is decent. Not a very big lot, but enough space for the amount of stores in this plaza. It is right by the go train station, so if the train does stop, it does take a while before it leaves the station.
Great job overall! Definitely coming back for more of...
Read moreThis fast food joint is packed with people trying to maneuver between hangry customers in line who are trying to place an order and hangry customers who are trying pickup their food. Yes, they ALL collide by the cash register!
As for food goes, less than mediocre burgers and soggy fries at a hefty cost. Only toppings on the burger was pickle. The wait time is well over 15 minutes with one person on cash, one who makes dirty sodas and another who is standing by the dessert station waiting for an order. There’s one employee who goes up to each table who literally is tasked to survey customers who just got their food asking how the food is then walk away.
Disappointed in their minimal seating with no priority seating for people with disabilities and lack of cleanliness. The tables were rarely tended to with leftover brioche and chicken bites crumbs from many tables prior to. The fast food joint layout is inconvenient to say the least.
If you’re feeling a decent burger, go to Five Guys. They’ll have tasty burgers with unlimited toppings, delicious peanut oil fried fries, unlimited refills on drinks, non congested dine-in space and an actual...
