Dustin was SO unprofessional. I ordered ahead on the app, it showed the drink had an approximate pickup time. I showed up a few minutes early but had no issue waiting. After twelve minutes since when the drink was supposed to be ready, I wondered "did they forget about my drink?" so I went in to ask and Dustin was so rude. Then I asked for a refund as I was appalled by how bad his customer service is, he just stared at me blankly so I asked him if he was the manager on duty and he said he wasn't. I asked him where the manager on duty was so he yelled "Carol, can you deal with this?" that is absolutely not how to handle a situation like this in customer service. I have my fair share of experience working in the customer service field and never should an employee say "deal with this" right in front of a customer. Obviously he had realized his mistake and basically had his foot in his mouth. He processed the refund while muttering the entire time. I had to tell him what he was refunding 3 different times.
Another time there was a very rude employee named Stevie I think. They had short black hair, glasses and they were rather short. They messed up making my drink, I wanted no ice and there was ice so instead of straining out the ice, a very simple task, they just said "there's only a bit of ice, just deal with it." The drink was probably filled half way with ice. I told them I would not "just deal with it" and they huffed and puffed as if they were going to blow my house down while remaking it.
This Starbucks really needs to take a look at who they have employed. It's absolutely pitiful. I have called the customer service line multiple times and never once has the store manager had the decency to follow up. This Starbucks...
Read moreEdit: came here recently for the 50% off a Frappuccino happy hour deal. I asked for no dairy (soy) and said no whipped cream as I have a dairy allergy. Of course, there was whipped cream on my drink. I told them to remake it because I have an allergy. The person in the back just scooped off the whipped cream. The guy near the counter giving out people's drinks was very kind and went back to tell him to remake it. He didn't seem too happy about it. In the end I got the drink I asked for but it gets me so upset when they don't even read. It's not like I asked for a complicated order. I go to Starbucks because I know they can make dairy free drinks. I am aware of contamination and I don't mind, otherwise I wouldn't even enter the store to begin with. It's very concerning that they have no care for people who have allergies. This has happened so many times that I think I'm officially done with Starbucks until they hire people who actually care about what drinks they make.
Service can be either really good or really bad. A lot of the times my drink has been ready and sitting there for so long because they think it's a mobile order and don't even bother to call out the name. It used...
Read moreI placed a mobile order in the parking lot for a Banana Loaf cake (not warmed). Although this should be quick to fulfill, sometimes orders like this do take some time due to how busy they are. Nevertheless, I was greeted enthusiastically as soon as I stepped in and one of the baristas asked me if my name was _. I said yes and he quickly directed me to the middle area to wait for my order. It took less than a minute for another barista to hand me the loaf and I was on my way.
The Banana loaf was flavourful and tasty even the next day. Only thing I have is the high calories and sugar but I suppose this is expected. I received it free as part of a deal so I can’t complain too much.
I do have a little beef with seating at Starbucks in general. Not the same as it used to be before COVID where there were nice comfy seating. But as I remember, this particular location never did have lounge chairs, only wooden ones. They limited the seats during COVID but have since...
