Sweet Palette — Restaurant in Markham

there was only a couple as i walked in and the ambiance was nice. went to the counter, looked up at their menu display and nobody greeted me nor have looked at me as i am a customer you know. so i just greeted them first (no response even a smile) and then told them what i would like to have. paid with tip and waited for some enough minutes. my attention was called and i have to get my order by myself. (i thought that was the tip for- like bringing the tray to your table and besides we were only 2 tables worth of customers. and tip should be given after your experience)

anyway, i wasn't happy to see a mess outside the serving dish. same with the 1st customers with their orders. the staff didn't bother to wipe the mess. 😣

the taro ball grass jelly looks nice, tastes ok but not crazy about it. the taro milk tea tastes more like water.

so: price not worth with the service and with the experience. even if it's pricey or cheap, customer service should be a priority a friendly and welcoming vibe needs a large chunk of improvement well lit and looks neat but will never come back. sorry..🫤

Wanted to come try their drinks for awhile and so glad I did.

Obviously ordered my fave combo of mango pomelo sago and a nice combination of fruit sweetness combined with the pulpy pomelo and the very melt in your mouth chewy sago

It’s also kid approved as my son loved the drink. Super refreshing and they also have a whole amazing line up of drinks I want to try

The place looks super cute with the wall art and little aesthetics throughout the shop

Service was decent. Took my orders with no issues and no real interactions. Nothing bad, nothing outstanding.

Definitely will come back amd try more drinks with the whole fam!

Makes good drinks that I tried so far, but expect a really long wait time. Anytime I come here, I usually either order 2-4 drinks and I end up always waiting 20-30 minutes in there. It's mainly one worker doing everything. I appreciate the most recent worker who notified us about their deal where if you buy 4 drinks, you get one free. The previous workers did not mention that to me at all so I missed out a couple of times. Pricey drinks though so I only come here once in a while. They also run out on the tapioca pearls often so I assume they probably cook these in the morning...I always come here...
