If I could give this restaurant negative 100 stars I would. The only reason I chose 1 star is because I have to pick something.
By far the worst pickup experience I have ever had.
Our order was approx $90 including 12 rolls and a few other dishes. When we received our order 4 items were missing.
Not a big deal, we live near by, we thought we would call and let them know we were on our way to pick up the missing bag (we assumed a bag was missed).
When we called however they were so rude, so adammant that:
The three items were never ordered - even though they repeated the order to us with these items noted .
They were making it seem like we were lying about 1 roll not being included as they were certain it was packed.
Instead of trying to rectify the situation by a simple, ok come on down we will get it ready for you. They kept denying we even ordered the three items and were saying things like:
"well its not on our list, you never ordered it, I remember I took your order, no you didn't ask for it"
She told me we didn't pay for it, but I couldn't verify because there was no receipt attached to the order. She said your husband didn't ask for a receipt so I didn't give one. But take out orders always have receipts and menus attached to it.
And with the missing sushi roll:
"no we packed it, I packed it, its in the small container, look again, open all the boxes, I put it in their I remember, no you didn't look carefully, tomorrow I will check the security camera"
Like seriously ??? Check the security camera over 6 pieces of sushi compared to the 72 we ordered? WHY Would I waste my time and gas to try to scam a roll of sushi from them, that doesn't even make sense. Instead of enjoying the dinner with my family I was instead on the phone feeling frustrated and disrespected.
I asked to speak to a manager and was told no manager was in, I asked to speak to someone in charge and they said no one is in charge, I asked to speak to anyone else working there, and she said everyone has gone home (Even though I could fully hear her speaking to the other staff in the background). I asked for her name and she would not give it and then she hung up on me after being very rude about the situation.
My husband had already gone back to pick up the missing part of our order before I started calling and upon his arrival there the server was quite confrontational and rude to him, and he didn't even know about our conversation. They wouldn't give him the three missing orders without paying for them again and we didn't have a receipt to verify if we paid for them or not. they made the missing sushi roll and gave it to him, but repeated that they would be checking the security camera as they know they packed it.
I would NEVER ORDER from...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have ordered take out from here before (I think with skip the dishes), and the food wasn't bad. Eventually, my partner and I decided to give it a try. They close at 10pm, so we called at 0810 pm and asked what time was their "last call" for all you can eat. They told us 0930 pm. We headed over and got there by 0820pm. We were the only ones in the restaurant. The hostess/server was pleasant, and we made our first order. It came out relatively fast, maybe 5-10 mins or so. However, once they put the last dish on the table that we ordered, they came and told us that was the last they were bringing out. We were a little taken aback as it was only 0840, and they just told us last call was 0930. We said we wanted to order more, but to wait until we eat a little bit, as they just brought the food out. They came back to the table almost every minute, making the assumptive question, "this is all, this is all?" We started going through the list and ticking off what we wanted as they stood over our shoulder. Saying, "oh no no you cannot order this." We asked if we were getting a discount because of the rush and they said no. They close when there isn't many people there, like that night. We asked, "why didn't you tell us this when we called, are you saying the restaurant was packed before we got here?" They took the paper out of our hands even though we weren't fully finished looking at it, brought out the food which was collapsing maki, they just rushed and threw it together, and then everyone walked out of the restaurant. Including our waitress. This was by 915! We then asked the only person left in the restaurant if we could just take our food home, because we don't even want to be here. And the guy started arguing that they will charge us take out prices. We argued back and fourth how this is so unprofessional and their customer service is terrible. Point blank we told them if they want better business then this empty night, then maybe they should focus on better customer service. We just got up and left all the food. At that point we were just turned off. He wanted to charge us for the left over food, but once he said that he immediately took back the comment. I think he saw the look on our faces, because at that point we were just straight out mad. Low and behold later on that night, we felt sick, and this morning, my partner was popping gravol like skittles because he just couldn't keep anything down. Don't go here. Save your money. The food wasn't terrible, but it's not...

I have been going to this restaurant in Milton since before the pandemic. I was happy with it as take out, but then mid pandemic the prices changed without notice or warning. As a result of this, as well as for the fact that they NEVER ANSWER THEIR PHONE, we stopped going.
Tonight we decided to give it another go, and this time inside. The price online was 23.99 for all you can eat and the restaurant closed at 9:30. This would give us just over an hour to dine, which felt like enough.
When we got there, we were told they closed at 9 and that their website was old. Surprised, we still decided to stay for the 23.99 price and weāre encouraged to order fast. We ordered, the server came to process the order and somehow erased it, so we had to start again, which resulted in duplicating orders for which we were later charged. The fatal flaw for this restaurant was that when the bill came, the price was 32.99 per person, now what was advertised online!!! We showed the website to the server, who got angry at us, claimed the website was 2 years old, and we were made to feel like this was somehow our fault!!!
Now, we all know this. Any good business would immediately give you the 23.99 price, and hurriedly update their outdated website rather than blaming the customers. This is NOT what happened. While we were offered a small discount in a very angry way, we were also charged for the food we ordered and couldnāt consume due to the rush from miscommunication online, and the server error.
Honestly, Ajisai needs to jump into 2022. This is not how a responsible business operates or treats itās customers. We will never return and would never recommend...
