Stick to the ice cream. Skip the horrible food.
Went here for a burger combo as I have always liked DQ burgers, but this location is just embarrassingly bad. Literally had a problem with every aspect of my meal. I worked in restaurants for nearly a decade and I am always ready to cut some slack but not for places so poorly managed as this one. Don't base this locations horrible attempts at serving food as an overall quality for DQ meals in general. I've usually enjoyed their burgers more than the typical fast food joints, management at this location just doesn't know what they're doing apparently, and DQ HQ doesn't seem to care.
was given a cup to get a self serve drink. I go to the drink machine and there's no ice. No biggie. Went to pour myself the soda and not only was it warm but flat too. Thought it was just the Pepsi, nope, all the pops were flat...
fries were undercooked and oily. Could really taste that it wasn't a conventional frying oil too. Nothing like half frozen oily fries. Yum.
I don't know how it's possible, but after it taking them 10 mins to make my meal, somehow the fries were undercooked and the burger was a soggy mess. Whatever they do in that 10 mins, it isn't making your burger from scratch. It really tasted like the toppings had probably been sitting in the bun for hours. I mean the patty was warm but the bun and vegetables were a starting to congeal to each other. I suspect they're mass pre garnishing their burger buns in an attempt to save time, which seems to be failing considering how long it took to get my meal.
To top it off service was kinda lousy. Seemed like there was 4 or 5 people working but none of them dedicated to taking care of people in line. Literally walked by without being acknowledged by multiple staff members.
Only reason they didn't get a one star was cause I haven't actually tried the ice cream or desserts here, which is their specialty. But overall, not impressed, don't think I'll be returning...
Read morePoor Customer Service and Incorrect Order at Dairy Queen
Dear Dairy Queen Manager,
I am writing to express my disappointment regarding a recent experience at your location. During my visit, my group and I placed an order for a large ice cream. However, the order taker provided us with a medium size instead.
I immediately pointed out the mistake and politely informed the staff member that we had ordered a large ice cream, not a medium. Despite repeating myself several times, the order taker refused to acknowledge the error and insisted that the order was correct. She was unwilling to listen correct the issue, or provide a satisfactory explanation.
This experience was frustrating and disappointing, especially considering that we used our DQ points for this purchase. As loyal customers, we expect a basic level of attention and customer service, but unfortunately, that was not the case during this visit.
I would appreciate if this issue could be addressed with the staff involved and need attention on this matters. Please let me know if you need further details about the visit, including location, date, and time.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I hope to see an...
Read moreDuring my recent visit to Dairy Queen Grill & Chill, my order consisted of some slush for an ice cream treat, as well as onion rings. Unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations.
The slush was satisfactory, according to my kids. However, they mentioned that the slush from another store in a nearby gas station was better, which was disappointing considering the higher cost at Dairy Queen. Additionally, the banana split treat I ordered was messy, despite the weather being relatively cool. By the time I reached my car, the ice cream had already started to melt, which was unfortunate.
The real trouble arose with the onion rings. Not only were they undercooked, but I also discovered pieces of chicken mixed in with the onion rings. This was a significant letdown and detracted from the overall dining experience.
Overall, I left Dairy Queen Grill & Chill feeling dissatisfied. The inconsistencies in the quality of the treats, along with the disappointing onion ring mishap, left me with a less than favorable impression. I hope that Dairy Queen takes note of these issues and takes steps to improve their food quality and consistency for the enjoyment of...
