Osmow's Shawarma — Restaurant in Milton

im writing this review after my 6th visit to the establishment and at this point I needed to share my thoughts.

My first time trying this osmows location i was really impressed, i liked it better than the location on main and Thompson. However after my visit, every subsequent times I had food from here quality kept going down.

The chicken tastes uncooked with large chewy pieces , hot sauce tastes nothing like osmows’s hot sauce - tasted like buffalo hot sauce which doesnt go well with this type of food. There was barely any rice in the chicken on the rocks regular size. Ive been having osmows , lazeez , taza etc for years and know what a good on the rocks tastes like.

Even this location was good the first time i had it things have changed significantly in just the span of a few months. I would not recommend this location any longer.

Note to mgmt: I advise training your staff to shred chicken properly and let it cook before taking it off the grill , fill up decent quantity for an order and do something about the hot sauce, bring back the real flavour , when you do let me know ill give it another try and maybe rewrite my review

Edit: There was a note from management to reach out on my review, and i actually did to help but no one responded and looks like they also removed their reply to my post. SMH willing to help and give it another try but looks like mgmt is content with serving bad quality

Edit 2: Management reached out and offered a free chicken on the rocks to re assess my experience. I went there and placed my order without mentioning anything about the review so no special attention is given to my order. Id like to change my review to positive one for the following reasons.

Chicken was well cooked . had decent quantity of rice and hot sauce tastes normal again. I applaud the management for using feedback as a tool to improve. I am back to being a customer again.

I had called and placed a order for chicken on the rocks with extra garlic and extra tahini with medium spice. when i went to pick up the order the lady told me she put the hot sauce on the side because she didn’t know what spice level i wanted it even though i had told her over the but it’s okay everyone makes mistakes right? i just asked her to put it on the food and she did which i appreciate. But when I got home and saw my order I realized that she infact might have forgotten everything I wanted when it came to sauces. There was no extra garlic, no extra tahini and there was one line of hot sauce which is what comes on the mild. Again my reaction was like it’s alright everyone makes me mistakes. But when i tried the food it was literally horrible the chicken was dry and cold and the rice was hard. So i called the location and addressed the issue. The lady on the phone i believe her name was Raman told me to come back to the location to pick up more garlic sauce keep in mind i was already at home and I live 15 minutes away from the location. I asked her if there was anything else she could do and she said no. I asked if there was any way that I was able to speak to the owner because it’s not a serious issue but cmon if I was the owner of this place i’d like to know about my food quality right?
