Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Milton

I am writing to express my frustration with the service I received at Maple Avenue , Milton location. On my visit today I ordered chicken legs. However, when I checked my order, I found that it was not as requested. Upon questioning the staff, a lady (appeared to be Punjabi) informed me that the chicken leg would need to be made, which would take additional time.

My main concern is that I was not asked if I wanted to wait for the chicken leg or if I was okay with the substitution. Why accept my order in the first place if the item wasn’t available? The lack of respect for my preferences is completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, I was forced to wait 40 minutes for the order to be corrected, and not once was I offered an apology for the delay or the inconvenience.

The attitude of the lady was unprofessional and disgusting, and I felt disrespected as a paying customer. No apology offered, and no effort to make the situation right. I would understand if that was a mistake but it was intentional and would have gone unnoticed had I not checked.

I would strongly urge the owners of the Maple Avenue location to not hire such people that will ruin the reputation of your brand that we have been trusting for 20+ years. If these are International students you are hiring , please avoid saving few dollars, you will end up losing loyal customers.

I will also be reporting this incident to Popeyes headquarters and expect a resolution. As a loyal customer, I hope my concerns are taken seriously. I'm surprised by looking at the negative reviews about this place, I went on Friday at the busy hour around 7:00pm. It was so busy to a point I had to wait about ten minutes until I came to the cash register, however the customer service I received was so satisfying to me even though the ladies on the cash were not able to speak proper english but managed to understood what I wanted. Let's be real, no one's perfect and we should encourage and appreciate every human being in CANADA at least if not anything. These women who were working seemed so poliet and asked me if I wanted to enjoy a drink while waiting. I also noticed a customer placing order next to me who seemed so rude to them, and surprisingly they were Pakistani also. Why can't brown people just act nice to Pakistani people? Why is there so much hate? Regardless the manager came and delt with the situation nicely. She was nice enough to also smile at the guy and apologize for the inconvenience while the guy kept going on and on, on the poor manager. I loved the food when I got home and decided to write this review to please spread the love and appreciation and stop complaining about the little things. If you weren't satisfied go in again and speak to the manager and I'm sure they'll handle the situation for you. Don't hate without even trying, they all are humans and humans make mistakes.
