H32 — Restaurant in Milton

I live near this place. I actually was going to grab Vito's pizza and saw this place on the side of the road. It's a food truck in a VERY OPEN parking lot. Such a random location. Anyways, we pulled up because we saw a guy cooking something on a smoker and decided to check it out. So we walk up, he was very friendly. We ask what he has and what is currently on the smoker - he had some kind of chicken, I think he said jerked but it was was a different jerked chicken than I ever had before. So we order the chicken expecting it to come with some sides such as rice or salad or fries. Anyways long story short, he charged us over $30 for half chicken, outrageous prices. Then when we got home and opened the box it was only chicken and a piece of bread.

I gave 3 stars because although there were no sides and it was super expensive, it was actually pretty good chicken. The chicken was tender and moist . Definitely not the best chicken I ever had. There's places with better chicken for a third of the price.

Was just such a random experience and I don't think I'll ever plan to go back. Ok, the chicken was good but $30+ good with no sides? No thanks.

EDIT: Sorry you were right, it was $23.50 + tax then I tipped on top because I was in a generous mood. Also, there was some kind of bread that it came with, it tasted like coconut/cinnamon. The bread was ok, a little hard and dry, kind of random with Jerk Chicken. Jerk Chicken usually comes with rice and peas/white rice (which I assumed it would come with, I was wrong about that) and coleslaw. Anyways, $23.50+tax for a BBQ chicken with no sides. Not changing my mind about 3 stars though because that's my opinion on the whole ordeal. Although the chef/server was nice, he didn't tell us ahead of time how much it was or that it didn't come...

H32! Best food truck in the GTA region hands down! If you want some real good, authentic sea food, H32 is the place to go. It’s top notch gourmet with exquisite customer service. So far I have had the cuppa sea (soup), which is my all time favourite and a definite must have at all my visits to the truck. I have also had the curry h32 cups, jerk lobster, Mac n cheese and the steamed fish ...which were all great portion sizes and very delicious. I can’t wait to try the other things on the menu. I had the shrimp poutine tonight and it was absolutely amazing I have never had a better sauce with my shrimp not too sure what kind of sauce did is because I said surprise me but it was absolutely amazing and kind of had a kick to it will definitely be going back I saw it off the side of the road and HAD to make a pit stop for some reason Google won't let me upload my photos today :( to the owner it was amazing...
