Worst experience on the East Coast while visiting. Server took forever to come to our table, while being the most attentive to the table next to us who were clearly friends of hers. When she decided to come over she was just the rudest person I’ve ever met. My stir fry was dry as the Sahara desert. When I asked for extra sauce, the cold container was slammed onto the table and slid across. Also a whole chunk of an onion peel was found in my food, I don’t even understand how that happens? Clearly they hire people who don’t care enough about their job to actually put care into their work. When I approached the owner with my concerns, I was told “it’s just how the server is, she’s from Ontario” I don’t care where your employees are from. There should be a standard that is held for how your employees treat your customers. Toward the end of our conversation Mike failed to apologize for my terrible service and food, but instead said “ya know, 99% are happy, but there’s always the 1% that doesn’t have a good time” not at all professional for someone who has actual experience in the industry of food and customer service. I can tell you that if anyone of my employees behaved the way she did, I would have fired her on the spot. Meal did get payed for by Mike, the only good thing he did while I was there. With his dismissive attitude and turning the blame to the customers and terrible food, I would not ever recommend this...

First and last time going to this joint. I sense that a lot of these good reviews aren't true and authentic. The food was mediocre, I can make a tastier meal at home with a lot more flavor. The thing that did it for me however, was the less than sub par waitress whose priorities focused on flirting with other staff members and gossiping rather than bring a requested condiment over leaving me to ask twice. When a second drink was asked for, the same thing happened...she said "sure thing" and ended up forgetting about it. We even had to wait almost 10 mins for the bill. I'd also like to mention that the place was not busy whatsoever, there were two other tables with guests at the time. Oh well, lesson learned, I'm happy I finally went there and tried out the food but I'm also very happy to never return there ever again. I will not recommend this place to anyone. It boggles my mind sometimes, it's not rocket science on how to provide good service, even exceptional service...it's not hard at all. Yet this place seems to think money is made by ignoring the paying customers and flirting with staff. I was also informed on their unprofessional antics with staff partying after hours, used condoms everywhere, drugs, etc. Keep er classy Mike's, soon there will be no customers and no one to...

Update April 12,2023: our second visit was again perfect, the coffee and cream flow so freely it makes the meal extra special 👍

A little pricier than the rest of the full breakfast serving restaurants in town but definitely worth it.

I had "Mike's clogger" with the $3 upsize to an omelette option and bologna added in addition to my one choice of meat. Everything was perfect from the crispy outside and juicy inside of the fried Bologna, hash browns and sausages to the sheer amount of egg, bacon, veggies and cheese in the omelette portion with quite frankly the most intensely good flavours I've ever had in an omelette.

My fiance had the eggs Benedict and was similarly impressed, especially with the perfectly over easy eggs; when she was full I was gifted her second massive slice of ham that was perfectly cooked so it was firm and juicy without being made too chewy like I've had elsewhere on occasion. The portion was huge for both of us but it was too good to not overdo it 🤣
