barBURRITO — Restaurant in Mississauga

This was by far one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. I was calling the restaurant before they close 45 minutes to make an order so I can make a pick up they were not answering the phone. so I made my way to the restaurant as I walked into the restaurant there was two girls in the back talking to each other. I decided to call the restaurant again to see if there was a phone line. the phone rang the one girl went up to the phone and looked back on her friend and started talking Indian started laughing and did not answer the phone. I don’t know why and what the reason was for that but that’s what happened I kid you not. So one of the girls came out finally after I was there already for 5 mins. I asked her how come she did not answer the phone and she said because we were busy. I told her that I’ve been here for five minutes and explain to her how long I’ve been calling for and the restaurant was empty and I saw her look at the phone and not answer it. she than took offence and told me that they were out of food and she did not wanna serve me and told me that the reason they were not answering was because they ran out of chicken. I did not want to eat chicken I wanted to eat shrimp after going back-and-forth she said she decided she does not want to serve me anymore and that they were closed. They close at 9:30. This was at 9:10. I’ve been calling the Resturant since 8:45. Anyhow, BarBurrito has a good menu and good food but this location is horrible and I do not advise anybody to come here. They lack customer service, professionalism, manners and operate at a very poor level. The employees can barely speak English and when they don’t know how to respond to you they turn around and speak their language to each other....

Stopped in for a burrito shortly after 2 today. Asked for “not much rice” which the girl working there seemed to ignore. I should’ve chimed in but trusted the worker knew how to make a burrito. She was extremely sparse with the toppings that mattered (ex: salsa, red onion and green pepper), which were old and not fresh. When she piled the jalapenos on top of each other, I finally chimed in and said can you please spread those (i.e. to avoid an awful bite), a request she seemed bothered by. She had no concept of spreading toppings rather than piling them (hard to believe). I nipped to the bathroom while she wandered off for more black beans, I return and she is hurriedly finishing my burrito (without asking whether I wanted anything else). As a former server, I couldn’t bring myself to leave $0, so I left a symbolic $1. She didn’t respond when I said thanks as she handed me the burrito, as if I stiffed her (it is confusing she felt entitled to a tip despite horrid service). Here’s my $18 burrito with “not much rice” (all I can taste is cheap rice, and you can see the jalapenos grouped together despite me asking her to spread them).

I love barBURRITO but will never return to this location after the horrible experience and worse service....

I must say that I had previously enjoyed my visits to this establishment, as the girls working here always provided excellent service and consistently delivered delicious food with generous portions. However, on my most recent visit, things took a turn for the worse.Upon arrival, I noticed that there was a new face behind the counter, possibly the owner or a male employee. Unfortunately, this individual had a significant impact on the quality of my meal. The burrito I ordered was prepared in an extremely unsatisfactory manner. It lacked the usual care and attention to detail that I had come to expect from this place. The taste was far from what I had experienced before, leaving me thoroughly...
