Came to this location to celebrate my son's graduation. I ordered the fettuccine jambalaya. Let me preempt this review by saying that I am not a picky eater. As long as the food is somewhat tasty and cooked properly, I usually don't have any issues. I will also say, however, that I know good food and understand what is expected at restaurants based on price point. My meal cost $21 approximately plus tax.
When it came out, I was very disappointed as it did not look as pictured at all. It looked like wet noodles with undercooked meat slept around it. The presentation did not make the food look appetizing at all. When I tried it, the sausage was literally cold as if it had just come out of the fridge add flavor was completely absent. I can't even say that it was salted.
After sending it back and getting the same meal, it was definitely much hotter in relation to temperature, but unfortunately, once again, the meal was terrible. Notably, there were only four baby shrimp in the entire meal. The manager came out and told me that since I was disappointed with the meal that she would cover any meal of my choice. I decided to go with ribs as I figured this would be a hard one to mess up. Boy, was I wrong!
The ribs look like they were boiled. There was no color at all, and it tasted terrible. The coleslaw was dry and disgusting . When it came time to pay, the manager did not honor her word and charged me the price of the fettuccine meal, saying that the ribs were more expensive, so I had to pay something. I was so disappointed, but I paid regardless.
After paying, I expressed my disappointment in the fact that she did not keep her word as well as the poor food overall. This completely ruined our night. When I finally did get the ribs, my family had already been waiting to leave as this was the third meal that we were getting, and I didn't even finish it. The only thing from the rib meal that I ate was the mashed potatoes as those were great! The cooks need way better training, and management needs to learn how to deal with customer issues better. At the end of the day, three meals came for me, I didn't eat any of them, and there was no compensation at all for the...
Read moreReally wish I could give more stars for my review, as the servers were really nice. However, I was A little disappointed. I recently Booked at this BP location for a group of 28 for my daughter’s fifth birthday. We had a gathering of 8 children and the rest adults. Unfortunately, it took forever for our server to give us our drinks… and some were even forgotten about. Our food came out at drastically different times… at one end of the table where the adults were seated people were already done their meal. While at the other end, people were only just receiving their meal and had to wait a very long time. The restaurant was not busy at all… as our reservations were at 3:00 pm and it was practically empty. So not really sure why everything took a very long time. My son never received his ice cream for dessert or his drink that was supposed to come with his food. Also, our tables were never cleared while we finished drinks or done with plates. My husband actually had to pick up the plates and cups for the servers and gather them on another empty table to make more room for other items that were ordered. We really dont mind helping, but we expected this to be done for us as that is the reason why we chose to dine out instead of hosting at home. Since we were a large group, auto gratuity was added to everyone bills, which is fine we understand that. However, we were truly hoping for a better more attentive service. The window next to our table was leaking… and since we didn’t realize it leaked all over some of my daughter’s presents. The bathroom’s were very dirty. I’ve been to numerous other BP locations and this was never the case. This is just an overall bad experience. I really dislike writing negative reviews… but the whole experience was just very disappointing. We have been coming to BP for years.. even before we had our kids and always loved the food and service. After this experience, we may avoid planning our dinners out at Boston Pizza for a...
Read moreWe just left this Boston Pizza location and we’re very disappointed with the service.
We arrived with a group of 10 people, 4 adults and 6 children for a St. Patrick’s Day lunch. The restaurant was almost empty.
We were told that there was an automatic 20% gratuity on our group. We were not satisfied with this and agreed to 15% gratuity. We happily tip very well for good service but prefer to choose the amount we tip based on service. Many of us have worked in the service industry and in management and appreciate hard work.
The visit started OK. We received our drinks and meals in a fair amount of time. After that the service went down hill fast. Our server Kaith(leen) checked in once and that was it until she came to collect payment.
The menus were never removed from our table. No glasses or plates were ever cleared from our table for the entire visit. No one came to ask if we required more drinks for a very long period of time. One of our guests went to ask for a drink himself at the bar. The kids were never offered their desserts, so one of the older children found a staff member and asked if they could order desert.
Another one of our guests cleared our table by moving all our plates to a near by table so we could talk and finish our drinks. Even when Kaith saw this we were ignored. There were no other patrons being served at the time, the place was still near empty and there were enough staff to at least do the bare minimum.
I am sad we ended up at this location. Although our visit with friends wasn’t ruined by this because we made the best of it, I would never recommend nor return to this location.
It’s sad that when gratuity is included in the meal you don’t get the service you deserve, or barely any service at all at this Boston Pizza. We come to enjoy a meal and pay our hard earned money at your establishment you think you could at least make a...
