We went out on a bit of a journey to pi k up some components we needed on this particular day, it was hot so we just wanted a cold drink. Perhaps some french fries to stave off hunger for a couple of hours. We rolled into the lot here, first thing we notice is that the outside lane of the drive thru is closed.
A NOTE TO DRIVE THRU OWNERS. PLEASE STOP CLOSING THE OUTER LANE, the outer lane allows people with longer vehicles to navigate the drive thru without rubbing a curb. Slowly causing tire sidewall damage, and upon occasion wheel damage.
While trying to order "two large cokes, and two large fries", it took almost 3 three minutes to place that order as the individual talking the order seemed to be unable to hear us, or was not listening to what was said. I'm not sure what the case truly was since we can't hear what the employee hears, but it is frustrating. To top off our experience at the ordering point, when we finally managed to confirm our order, the response was just a "drive up", when asked what the total was, we only received silence. We gave up and drove up to the second window to pay and collect our order. The person working the window just mumbled something and stuffed a pos system out the window without even looking. So now not only do we have an order in place that we have no real idea what the cost is, but we are now trying to tap a $20 bill because the window person is not paying attention. The process at the window is slowed down even more because the process has not been followed. We got our drinks and our friends, but it was an unpleasant experience. The food was as is expected, but the service was lacking.
To those that own or work in the fast food industry, more specifically with a drive thru. Please feel free to confirm the items that customers ask for, end the verbal transaction with something along the lines of "Your total is $x.xx, please drive up to the second window", and please please please do not cut customers off half way through an item they are ordering with a "that all" or something along those lines. It is rude, frustrating and very annoying. People are paying $15 for 2 large fries and 2 large drinks. If we could make that a pleasant transaction, people would be happier with...
Read moreI go possibly once or twice a week for lunch as I work close by. The problem with this location it’s hit or miss. The past few times I’ve been going they have been charging me for stuff and they don’t include it on my meal. This past week I ordered a a chicken Cesar salad with bacon. I paid for the bacon but didn’t get it and they didn’t include any Parmesan cheese or croutons. I paid for the chicken I got half the serving size. The second time I went was today. I ordered two bacon king sandwiches I got one and a half. One of them was okay and the second one only had one beef patty in it and it looks like it was sitting there for some time. I guess the reason I am writing this review is before you leave the drive-thru check your order to see if it’s correct. I’ve noticed that the Tamil lady that when she works there screws up the order everytime when she works. When she is not there the order is...
Read moreFriendly staff...no issues there. The food , well that is and issue. Double whopper and whoppers were way over salted and not fresh at all.... perhaps even reheated. The all dressed nuggets very salty too but maybe that is the recipe...not sure but I didn't enjoy it. Mozzarella sticks had a bit of an odd smell of some kind of spice. The blueberry and apple pies..not great but they were fine to better than fine. So we are going to a different burger king to try our luck. The 2 stars is for friendly staff. Food only would or been a 1 star.
P.s. I have a diner and have eaten at Burger King in my lifetime at least 1000+ times. And it's a hit and a miss unfortunately.
Update:. I got in contact with BK head office to complain and let them know about the experience i had, and they were kind enough to send a gift card with an apology letter. I have added 1 more star for the...
