China China Palace — Restaurant in Mississauga

My first experience at China China Palace was amazing! It was recommended to me after I asked if anyone knew a good Chinese restaurant in Mississauga. I can see why my friend's family has been ordering from China Palace for years. The food was very fresh, not greasy, and not salty. The woman who took my order at the counter was very friendly, and explained some of the dishes I was unsure about. She was also very accomodating when I made a few changes to some of the dishes I ordered. The food was ready within 10-15 minutes. I am already looking forward to my next visit! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for delicious fresh food, as well as fast and friendly service.

I have ordered a few more times since my last review. This restaurant still does not disappoint. They are consistent and very tasty! I can see why it was a long wait on New Year’s Eve for take out. People waited over 2 hours for their food because they know it is worth it!

My new favourite soup from China China Palace is Wonton Soup. Plenty of delicious wontons in a tasty broth. The Sesame Chicken is another favourite. I tried their chicken balls on NYE. This place doesn’t even deserve 1 star, my partner order food from here the general tso chicken and noodles plus a “fresh” egg roll. I had been working yesterday and was starving. When I bit into the egg roll it was just an old taste filled with bean sprouts and that it’s. The worst was the general tso, there was NO MEAT IN IT, it was all coating. I told my partner to try it and he’s a very quiet keep the peace kind of human but he called the restaurant because was also shocked that there was NO MEAT IN THE GENERAL TSO CHICKEN. When he called he was very polite and mentioned that there’s no meat just breading and coating and the last said “only one two pieces” he started that we have opened each piece up and there was no meat in any she then proceeded to say “Thank you Thank you” and hung up. That was shocking because she did not ask us to bring it in or anything. There was no means of rectifying the situation at all. I’m not sure how to reviews are so high for this place, as well as the long line when my partner got food yesterday but go to Royal jasmine instead guys. This is why it’s best to stick with places that have always been good instead of trying new places. This place is absolute trash and deserves to be closed....

I will say I only waited 20 minutes for the order because I chose delivery, everything was hot when the order arrived. I did not like the chicken wings all I could taste was loads of corn Starch within the batter, no salt or pepper just heavy powdery corn Starch. I ordered the beef and broccoli lunch special along with the chicken lo mein lunch special. Both of those dishes were tasteless like they don't add salt or seasonings to their food. The food was bland. Also I did not like that the menu says one price but the person who answers the phone gives you a whole different price. It was my first time ordering from this place and I will not be ordering again. The food is just so bland, no flavor at all. I couldn't believe it. Best part about this meal was...
