Charc Shawarma – A Flavor-Packed Journey You’ll Never Forget ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
If you’re a true shawarma lover, or even just shawarma-curious, you owe it to yourself to make a trip to Charc Shawarma — a hidden gem that’s quickly becoming a legendary spot for anyone who appreciates bold flavors, fresh ingredients, and unbeatable service.
From the moment you walk into Charc Shawarma, there’s an energy in the air — the sound of meat sizzling on the grill, the aroma of spices wafting through the kitchen, and the friendly buzz of staff who clearly care about what they’re serving. The restaurant’s name says it all: Charc – short for charcoal – and trust me, that’s no gimmick. The meat here is flame-grilled to perfection, locking in a smoky, mouthwatering flavor that instantly sets them apart from your average shawarma joint.
Let’s talk about the shawarma itself, because wow — this is where the magic happens. Whether you go with the chicken, beef, or lamb, the meat is marinated for hours (if not days), then grilled until it’s charred just enough to give it that crave-worthy crunch while staying juicy and tender on the inside. Each wrap is loaded with fresh toppings like crisp lettuce, ripe tomatoes, pickled turnips, and your choice of creamy garlic sauce, tahini, or their house hot sauce that packs just the right punch.
What really impressed me was the attention to detail. The pita? Fresh and warm, never dry or rubbery. The sauces? House-made and balanced perfectly — not overpowering, but rich and flavorful. And the portion sizes? Generous, without being overwhelming. You get exactly what you want: a shawarma that fills you up without slowing you down.
The menu also features some awesome side options — don’t miss out on their garlic potatoes, crispy on the outside, soft inside, and absolutely drenched in that addictive garlic sauce. Their hummus is smooth, creamy, and clearly made fresh, while the falafel is crunchy, herby, and a great vegetarian option that doesn’t feel like an afterthought.
The space itself is clean, modern, and welcoming. Whether you’re grabbing takeout or dining in, the atmosphere is laid-back but well-designed. The staff are super friendly, quick to offer suggestions if it’s your first time, and they genuinely seem excited to serve great food.
Charc Shawarma isn’t just a place to eat — it’s a place you experience. It’s a celebration of everything that makes shawarma amazing: bold spices, authentic preparation, and a dedication to quality that shines through in every bite. Whether you’re a regular or a first-timer, this spot leaves an impression — and probably a craving you’ll be coming back to satisfy again and again.
Final Thoughts: 🔥 10/10 flavor 👨🍳 Stellar service 💯 Great vibes 🥙 Shawarma that dreams are made of

Read moreWhy would you open another shawarma place in town if you can’t serve a good shawarma? Here are my notes: 1- Shawarma is very dry, and the spices are way far from any good shawarma.
2- I also ordered the spicy CS signature , very poor amount of chicken and the spicy sauce mix is so over dominant, i didn’t even finish the sandwich. And it was unprofessionally burned. Never order this thing if you go there.
3- The main chef was shouting on the workers so I didn’t feel comfortable eating there while watching the staff being yelled at in such a disrespectful way. If he doesn’t know how to manage people, then don’t take charge of a kitchen.
4- pickles were very bad
The good things are as follows: 1- french fries were good with the special spices on top 2- nice decor 3- clean bathroom
Unfortunately another bad shawarma place in...
Read moreEDITED DOWN BELOW! i havent tried anything other than their chicken saj wrap so im hoping their other products are good, but unfortunately the wrap that i got wasnt really that tasty. with or without toppings the shawarma i normally get from other places have a really nice taste to the meat itself, however this one was quite bland and dry, the fries was okay not too bad not too good either. it was disappointing considering how hyped this place was over social media and their own page
EDIT: i recently tried their lamb and veal saj, and dude is it amazing! i dont eat lamb because it has a certain smell to it but this one i just cant stop, i keep ordering and encouraging my friends to also try it. its so tender and juicy, the taste is genuinely just great!...
