It was my first time here at this pizza place, after seeing so many 5 star reviews and ppl saying it's awesome good pizza I must say it's not exactly a 5 star to me, service was awesome and staff were happy working with each other, they would greet every customer that walked in with a smile but I have ordered and waited there for my order 20 mins or less till it was done and noticed my order sitting on top of the pizza oven for about 5 mins or more just wondering when they will call out my name cause it's on the order but never did I had to tell them to get my order on the oven, yes they are busy but with the amount of ppl behind the counter it is no excuse to not pay attention there were too many ppl going behind the counter that I didn't know who worked there or not, there were at least under 10 ppl behind the counter what looked like pizza makers, order takers, delivery drivers ect, it's a crowded space when ordering at a busy time, there is no sitting area inside just make your order and there is a sitting area outside the pizzas place, it is located in a small plaza space surrounded by other businesses parking is ok not that much parking on a busy day, Now I will say that the food I ordered was a bit expensive, I paid over $60 for everything a large pizza $35, 1 lb of wings $14.00, lasagna $13, a chicken sandwich $11.50 and 4 pops and it came with a garlic bread, was the food good yes it was, it had flavor on everything and it was hot and fresh to eat well I can't say that the lasagna was fresh cause it didn't taste fresh but it was good but not something I would order again, the chicken sandwich was also good but the chicken breast it's self tasted a bit dry and was only tolerable cause of the sauce that was put on it and the other condiments as well, the wings I was told was good cause I don't eat wings, the garlic bread was ok a bit soggy but ok, it seemed like self made garlic butter or sauce, I drove 20 to 25 mins here with my family cause we heard it was an amazing pizza place and I say it was ok not worth the drive and not a place I would drive to again unless I was living near by it, but I do recommend others to try it out cause it's not bad but also not the greatest it's just good pizza and wings...
Read moreFive stars doesn’t even do this place justice. Was in the area for an event, all the way from North Carolina. Looked online for a pizza place and decided to try something that wasn’t a big chain and trust me when I say, best decision I’ve ever made. The group of guys back there were slapping up pies left and right and all of them looked so perfect. The service I received was outstanding, especially this one gentleman, while making pizzas he asked and I quote, “Mr.Mohammad you ever had our pizza before?” “No, this is my first time, I’m not from around here.” “ Well lemme tell ya, you’re gonna love it, it’s gonna make you keep coming for more” and he absolutely didn’t lie, I just wish it was closer than a 12 hour drive lol. He struck up a conversation with me about NC and the tarheels and honestly everything was amazing, from the service to the pizza, fresh ingredients and he had the courtesy to use a pizza cutter specifically for veggie pizzas without me even asking. I salute you sir, you know you’re customers even if it’s their first time. Whoever the owner is, I wouldn’t let this guy go. Everytime he addressed me it was by my name, with a smile on his face while doing his work. For a lack of a better description and I do apologize, he was the tall, hairless, amazing personality gentleman. Thank you for your service my friend. Will definitely recommend to family in the area. 🔥 pizza...
Read moreIt's been more than six months since I visited this place, but I'm still blown away by how kind the staff were. Like, I've pretty much never been to any business that was so enthusiastic for customers' business. I called the restaurant from my Airbnb and placed an order. The woman who took my order over the phone was just as friendly and cheery as could be, and efficient. Upon arriving at the store for carryout, the gentleman behind the counter was even friendlier than the woman on the phone. He detected my accent and walked to discuss the States, Texas, etc. for a minute. I didn't even have enough cash to pay at the moment, so he told me to pay what I had on me and he'd eat the $5 that was still due. I went down the street to an ATM and paid him that difference plus a tip anyway, because running a small business in Ontario can't be cheap. Just such a different experience than comparable places in major US cities where cashiers (underpaid, to be fair) barely look at you and just take your money. The interior reminds me of a hole-in-the-wall, no-frills pizzeria in NYC. The pizza itself was average, if I'm being honest, but I'd still come back when in Mississauga, ON just for the kind, personable...
