1st visit, ordered 5 items: chicken with hot sauce, green pea noodles with sichuan sauce and added 2 spring rolls, shredded pork with garlic sauce, fish fillet with sichuan pepper sauce, and mixed beef with with hot sauce.

My fav is mixed beef, future could order 2 after buying groceries. The fish fillet, I thought was mid but LN likes it. The spring rolls tasted frozen with freezer burn, so future maybe get a different side (or drink - but the sodas are like $3 here wtf). Shredded pork was good but not as great as I remembered it.

2nd visit, ordered 3 items for family of 3: had mixed beef, Dan Dan noodles (came with some ground beef as protein) and a can of coke, and fried Ho fun with beef and xo sauce. All delicious. Didn’t realize I ordered all 3 beef dishes until later, but all tasted good and different textures of the beef dishes. Would order all 3 of these dishes again. Dan Dan noodles were my fav, I love the smooth rice texture of the wheat noodles. Ho fun flat rice noodles tasted good too, fluffier. Both were delicious noodles.

3rd visit. Had spicy mixed beef (fu ji fei pian). Ho fun with minced pork (delicious) and Tofu with assorted meat (this is a seafood tofu) - also delicious. Would order these 3 again.

4th visit: Had spicy mixed beef, tofu with assorted meat (seafood tofu), pork intestines and blood with hot sauce (served with rice noodles - delicious. 1 of my fav dishes), and frog legs and onion with soy sauce (SK liked these and they were a celebratory dish for passing their IT exam).

5th visit: Ordered mix beef with hot sauce, pumpkin with salted egg yolks sauce (future choose the one with shrimp cuz this one came with no meat - lame), and tofu, with assorted meats. It was ok. I mis-ordered the pumpkin dish (didn’t choose the shrimp one by accident. Ugh). Overall tasted good.

6th visit, lunch: Ordered mixed beef with hot sauce and Ho fun noodles with beef and XO sauce. So delicious. I have checked their menu. This Ho fun beef noodle dish is my favourite noodle dish on their menu by far. I like this noodles the most. Continue ordering these 2 items for lunch.

7th visit: Ordered salted fish and chicken fried rice. I liked it. Good rice dish. LN and SK like this carb dish more than beef ho fun. I like beef ho fun more (cuz I like noodles).

8th order: Reviewing the fu ji fei pian (mixed beef with hot sauce). I feel like the sauce is too light (tai dan le). Not flavourful enough. Could be spicier/saltier or something. Please go back to the original recipe.

9th order: tofu with assorted meat, sliced chicken filet with mushroom, pork chop with black pepper sauce. Loved my regular tofu dish, SK liked the chicken filet dish a lot (I thought it was average, chicken isn’t my preferred meat), I loved the pork chops (crispy, tender, juicy) with good black pepper...

Strongly not recommended, service attitude is poor and food is served slowly. It's my first and only bad review in google.

I came in at 18:30 in the evening and sat down to order. It had been more than an hour since the food was served. I ordered regular dishes. Seven or eight tables in the store were empty, so it was not busy.

There was no service at all. They took the tea and menu and put them on the corner of the table and turned around and left without saying anything. After ordering the dishes, I called the waiter. The two waiters stood there chatting and ignored me. We raised hands for a long time and finally stood up and waved. Anyway, there was no communication during the order. And the waiter never came once during this period, such as bringing tissue and filling water.

It would be understandable if there were a lot of people, but these seven or eight tables were empty... (It looked like they were doing takeout all the time, and people who came to pick up the food just took it away)

What's worse, the two tables after us had already been served. When we asked the waiter, the waiter said ours still had to wait without any reason.

When I finally paid, the waiter didn't give me a good look. I usually tip at least 15%, but this time I was very disappointed and unwilling to tip. The waiter suddenly became unhappy and didn't say a word to us.

If you want to experience terrible service and tip, go to this...

I recently dined at China Impression, and it was a mostly enjoyable experience with some standout dishes.

The Beef in Hot Sour Sauce had a nice tangy flavor, though the use of glass noodles seemed to cut back on the amount of beef, which was a slight letdown. Both the Cantonese E-Fu Noodle and Yangzhou Style Fried Rice were average and not dishes I’d particularly recommend.

However, the Deep Fried Shrimp with Spiced Salt was phenomenal! The shrimp were fresh, perfectly crispy, and seasoned to perfection. Even the shells were so light and crunchy that you could eat them. This dish is a must-try!

The Tilapia Fish with Mixed Mushroom & Tofu was another highlight. The broth was light and naturally sweet, and the ingredients were fresh and flavorful. A tip: ask for this dish to be served before heavier Sichuan dishes, as its delicate flavors might otherwise get lost.

The Stir-Fried Intestines with Soy Sauce was delicious and paired wonderfully with rice—so much so that even the kids loved it! The Tofu with Assorted Meat was also excellent, with silky, tender tofu and bold, well-seasoned flavors.

One minor downside was the wait time; dishes took about 10–15 minutes to arrive, which could be improved.

Overall, China Impression is a great spot if you know what to order. I’ll definitely be back for their standout shrimp and...

Food was delicious and the portions are good; I've been here twice with my family now. The first time we went was on a weekday (night), and the service wasnt great. They wouldn't seat us at a larger table even though the restaurant was almost empty, and we stated we wanted to order a large amount of dishes, and sure enough we could not fit everything on the table they sat us at. They then forgot one of the orders, we told them to cancel it, and they told us they did, but then proceeded to charge us for it anyway. The food also took about an hour to arrive. The second time we went was great though, we went on a Saturday night and the staff were brisk but helpful and the food came quickly, and everything was delicious. The tables are a little small though (like cafe size) if you're not at one of the round tables so just keep that in mind. The restaurant is clean and the bowls/plates they have are quite cute, and my final opinion is that I would still recommend this restaurant, just try to go when you feel they would be adequately staffed.

WHAT TO TRY?! The beef noodle soup, the fried squid and the spicy chicken cold noodle dish! Watch out, a new restaurant is in town for folks out in Mississauga! Similar to Bashu, they have an iPad where you can order food. The style is very similar, food is mainly Szechuan, however this restaurant also offers some Cantonese version of cuisine like congee and fried squid! The beef noodle soup was very tasty and I liked that they used beef brisket closed to the tendons because the beef brisket was more tender and easier to eat. The bowl is big too for its price! Good bang for your buck! The cold noodle was also good, very chewy like al denté texture and it mixed really well with the spicy oil. The squid was also very delicious because the kitchen fried the squid to order so it's freshly made for you when you order it! Get the extra crunch! LAST TIP?! Don't order the Cantonese food unless you're really craving it because the Cantonese side of the menu is mediocre. No reservations required and bring more friends!
