Cinnabon — Restaurant in Mississauga

Visited on a Thursday early evening, place was in no way busy at all. I approached the cash register to place an order, there was a staff busy rolling dough who looked up, saw me but did not acknowledge. I work in food service as well so I understand everyone has their roles. This didn’t bother me as I figured the staff who is suppose to be on cash will emerge shortly. Would’ve been more appropriate for the staff who saw me to notify her coworker but whatever. Another customer approaches the counter, doesn’t even stand where the cash register is, I assume that’s the pick up area. Staff who is rolling dough looks up, sees him as well, still doesn’t say anything. Finally, the second staff emerges from the back, walks right up to the man by the pick up area and takes his order. The staff rolling dough doesn’t even bother notifying her coworker that I had been waiting first. I decide to leave as this place is a complete joke run by students who have zero sense of customer service. Also, during this whole interaction, the two staff we’re communicating to each other, one of them asked the other to clock them in so it wasn’t even like they couldn’t speak to each other. We have been buying from this store for the last so many years. When my family visited yesterday at 7:45pm (12th Oct 2023), the two ladies working there (Dixie Mall) gave highly unpleasant look to my family, my wife wears scarf. When they ordered the Cinnamon bun as they normally do, the ladies told them that our management has told us that we put Gelatin in the Cinnamon bun. My daughter asked in your recipe it does not mention any gelatin, which is not halal. If whatever they were saying was correct then i would request all those who only eats Halal to immediately stop buying from this store as the staff mentioned to my family that their management has told them to tell the customers that we use Gelatin in it. However if the management thinks that there is no gelatin in the recipe then please take immediate action against the biased staff working at that time.

The manager at this location always has a sour attitude. And is constantly criticizing her employees whenever I go in. I basically get a coffee from there every morning and I’m greeted with no smile just attitude. The final straw for me was when I ordered 2 coffees and asked for a tray and she made some snarky comment about not being allowed to take a tray if I only buy 2 drinks. I didn’t realize you there were rules as to who can get a tray or not. I’ve been a customer for almost a year and a half and I really think you should think about re training or changing your management at this location.
