Sakura Ichiban Sushi Express — Restaurant in Mississauga

Their korean fried chicken is salty, not crispy, overall doesn't taste good and such a small portion. All you taste is the salty Soy sauce with some sort of spicy sauce that doesn't taste korean. Paid $30 for the chicken and got such a small portion. The picture they used is deceiving but in reality you only get about 10 pieces. The only good part of the chicken was that it was very tender.

The sushi was better, but still has some problems. They have a buy 1 get 1 sale and they only use half rolls so you're essentially just paying for 1 full roll. You get about 6 small pieces that are spread out to seem like a bigger portion. Paid $15 for their sushi thinking it was an actual sale. Their rice was mushy, but it might have just been old hence the bogo sale.

Overall, I paid about $55 including tip for everything and I feel like I wasted my money. If you eat here DO NOT order their chicken. Their sushi tastes like your typical mall sushi; better than a grocery store, but worse than a sushi restaurant. Don't get tricked like I did with their...

Ordered Salmon Pokebowl for the disabled wife. Ordered less rice and more veggies which they accommodated. Once I got the food and the wife tried it. It had way too much sauce. Super salty due to the excess amount of sauces they used. My wife tried another spoonful and couldn't eat it. Went back to ask them if they could make a new one with half the sauce and the man there said we ate too much of the bowl!?!??

Couldn't really complain or explain things due to the man's poor ability to communicate and his stubbornness.

I always thought you'd want each customers experience to be the best they've had. But obvious not here. They just wanted my 20 bucks.

I understand it's Dixie Value Mall but this malls been getting better and I do appreciate the effort by management. But people like the people at Sakura Ichiban will make this mall feel less than.

To be honest this started off bad, there was some quality issue with the food that we weren't satisfied with, we ordered through Uber eats and we complained about the food quality to them and they didn't do anything. We called the restaurant and explained to them our experience and how it ruined Mothers day for us, the restaurant and the lady felt so bad they offered us a credit and asked us to give them one more chance.
