Hachigo — Restaurant in Mississauga

Purchased their smoothie special and I wish I could say they were amazing BUT they were HORRIBLE. They had approx. 2 cups of sugar in them and were un drinkable. I went back and told the lovely lady who was giving out samples and she offered to redo both. Great, I thought what great service. Was I wrong. The girl who redid the smoothies came back with slushies. When I asked why they were not redone as smoothies (with milk) she responded, you wanted no sugar and no yogurt to which I responded I didn’t want the amount of sugar the other drink had. She responded “my bad” and literally walked away. At this point I had already wasted time coming back and getting it redone that I wasn’t going to attempt another try to get it done right.

Needless to say, buyer beware! But on another note, their cheesecake is...

Worse experience ever! I will never recommend this establishment. We ordered 1 mango smoothie and one blueberry slushy. There was no line but it took almost 20 minutes to make and to make matters worse it was the most tasteless drink I’ve ever had. They do not use real fruit or even the flavoured milk power. I requested the customer service rep if there was a way they could make it a bit better where I could taste the mango because it tasted like a pinch of sugar and all water. They said this is how it’s made with a bit of jam and ice. Do NOT WASTE...

The boba they serve is not real boba, it taste the same as cheap canned boba in supermarkets, sickly sweet, the boba pearls are spongy and jelly like, not like fresh tapioca! (I've been drinking canned boba for a whole year during the pandemic, you can trust me to know how that taste)

It's fine if it's cheaper and clearly disclosed but they sell it at the same price as quality boba shops, feels like a scam and even if the other food here is good I'm unlikely to ever try them, don't put these things on your menu if you can't...
