I had been coming to cooper's for years before this happened and I will never be back.
I came in for wings with two friends, neither of whom ever pick fights nor had more than 2 light beers each. The bartender was grouchy, seemed annoyed she had to serve any customers and had a bad attitude but I over-tipped her anyway. Everything was fine until we were leaving, when in the parking lot my friend spat on the ground. A big round man started yelling from over 10 metres away, accusing that my friend was spitting on his father (also more than 10m away) Beligerently drunk, the round man walked over threatening to kill us and jumped at my friend and grabbed him by the shirt, cocked back his fist but my friend got away. He was chased through the parking lot in circles by this big crazy screaming person, so I ran inside to call the police. I asked the bartender to call because my phone was dead. Instead of calling, she came out to watch. What if someone was seriously hurt? The round man flailed at my friend attempting to punch, but was too drunk and slow. He gave up and walked back to his white car, completely hammered attempting to drive his father home (he would his father protect from saliva but not from a drunken car accident?) I asked the bartender why she had not called the police and she told me that the round drunk man was THE OWNER!!! How preposterous that an owner be tanked at his own establishment?! even more so that he is threatening to kill his patrons and driving home drunk. Read moreI am the type of person to give people/companies the benefit of the doubt but this place I am officially done with. They have wing night specials where wings are .75cents a wing which is why I would go there in the first place. However, 3 of the 5 times I've gone, the service was terrible. First bad experience: they completely messed up my tables order. The food was cold. It took forever to come out. I spoke to the manager she said that it was because all of the staff were new. She did not provide any type of discount. 2nd time I went there were only 5 other customers in the restaurant and it took 10mins to get a menu because the waitress was chatting to her coworker. It took 15mins to get the bill after asking for it. 3rd time I go, my bf and I sit down. The waitress comes to the table next to us and takes their starter plates. Later she comes back and gives them their main course and leaves. We are were still waiting just to get a menu (about 15mins). A group of 4 guys and another 2 guys all walk in at the same time. They take 2 separate tables and instantly the same waitress that was helping the table next to mine goes and gives the table of 4 guys a menu. One of the managers follows her to give the table of 2 guys a menu. At that point I got up and told the manager (same manager I spoke to the first time) that we were blantantly ignored for 15mins and these guys just got instant service. What a gem she is, she’s professional, prompt AND pretty?
Pretty amazing customer service, friendly and quick, she’s always watching the floor for customers requests.
A definite reason as to why I love the pub.

Omg the wings were made again by Edwin tonight and they’re still amazing and i consider them a food orgasm. Wow wow wow
And now I get to meet Andrea and Tiff and I must compliment them as a trio to Sarah’s service.

OMG the wings here, made by Edwin, I travelled 63 countries, trained as a Sous Chef, the BEST, I have ever eaten.
