I recently had the pleasure of being assisted by Warda at Al Jazeera Supermarket & Restaurant, and I must say that she has truly left a lasting impression with her exceptional service!

A great little find in MiSsissauga- grocery and restaurant. We went specifically for the food and bought some groceries as well. We tried 3 manakeesh- the cheese, sujok/cheese and lahm-ajeen ( ground beef with veggies and spices) manakeesh (pizza). The first two were good. The ground beef one was a little to wet and a bit too much cinnamon for my liking. We also ordered the Iraqi Gus (shawarma) on both beef and chicken. The bread used isn’t your typical pita nor saj bread(a little thicker and fancier pita). The bread used is almost like a Portuguese bread that looks like a rowboat or kayak…sort of oval. They add grilled tomatoes to the Gus. No pickles turnip or tabouleh- meat, grilled tomatoes and the bread. Quite flavorful though we upped the flavor by buying a tub of their spicy garlic spread and lathering that on every bite! Great combo btw. My beef was good however some bites got me an old fatty flavor. Overall though it was good. We also bought the regular garlic spread but to me it tasted more like a thick cream. No taste of garlic in either of the garlic spreads. Next time we visit I’d like to try the charcoal bbqd skewers. The gentleman who makes the manakeesh was really friendly and nice! As was the cashier. We ended up buying a pomegranate molasses that we’ve tried on shawarmas at another shawarma joint. Also bought rose water, flower water, dates, pre-marinated ground chicken with spices and sumac spice. We’ll def come back to try some of the...

I really like this restaurant basically, I like the customer service that madihaa gives us all the time when I come there all the time, but about two days ago, I came twice and they were so rude. No one offers me anything new. I really ask them two times in three times and no one offers me anything and makes me excited to try. As for the enthusiasm with which I come there and I was really excited , she helps me all the time she is also not rude. She is always smiling and she is always happy and makes us happy and smile. We really love going there just to see her and we really enjoyed her helping us with everything we wanted there and she offered us new things to try and it was so good. We tried the beef shawarma. We tried the beef cubes. We tried the Iraqi kebab. We tried a lot of the things that she gives us and they were so good. It was delicious. I really want to let you guys really work on customer service with the other cashiers and I really appreciate how many have helped us and I hope that I can come back but after the customer service, the other cashier gives us it really bad. I never want to go back just maybe if madihaa were there and would help us we could go back but I don't think we can go back after the bad experience we saw after the poor customer service...
