Eggsmart — Restaurant in Mississauga

A group of us attended this location this past Monday. I haven't had such an awful dining experience in a long time. We were a party of 8 and I understand that can complicate things, however this was well beyond the realm of complication.

First off the service was incredibly slow! The waitress came off very erratic and couldn't get anyone's drink order correct. The food took about 40 mins to come out and even then only half of the food came out. We are not talking about anything complicated but orders such as avacado toast. Which barely came with any avacado and one piece of toast at $8.99 it was a joke. It was an additional 15 minutes for 2 more orders to come out. Both extremely sastifactory quality. The waitress forgot to put in a coworkers order of a yogurt parfait and that took another 15 minutes to serve... upon its arrival it was litterally a cup of yogurt dumped into a bowl and pre chopped fruit. It wasn't until half way through it was discovered the fruit had mold on it. When we informed the waitress she asked if my coworker "could taste the mold" as if seeing literal mold was of no concern but only tasting it was...

Finally they agreed to take the yougurt off of the bill but all in all everything was awful. Quality of food, service and portions.

I would avoid this location...

Despite the recent "State of Emergency" conditions we are all in here in Ontario, our family was coming back from a necessary medical appointment and needed to eat lunch. We were in the Queensway/Hurontario region so we Googled for restaurants in the area. Luckily there was an amazing Eggsmart location down the street at Queensway and Cawthra. We ordered ahead before driving off and after a few red lights we arrived to a very friendly greeting and delicious smells coming from this clean, well kept location. Within a minute of paying for our meal, (for my family of four), it was ready. When we got home not long after it was still warm and delicious. Everyone was very happy, (including our kids). The fruit seemed fresh, the waffles decadent but fluffy, eggs Benedict done perfect with good portions of smoked salmon. The pancakes scarfed down quick enough to assume they were awesome too. Between the great taste, speed and super friendly service, (especially considering the circumstances we're all in), it was definitely a 5 star experience. We look forward to future visits...hopefully dinning in next time. Thank you for brightening a day that started off very gloomy.

Also forgot to mention that they told us they're offering free delivery for food orders, which...

Unfortunately no longer a regular customer. Been here countless times, it's my daughter's favorite place. She even chose to come to eggsmart for her 7th birthday out of any other restaurant. The waitress was/is always very kind. However, today we went before church. Gave ourselves enough time to have breakfast. Table beside us was seated 15 minutes after and ordered well after we did. They advised they were in a rush and the waitress told the kitchen to put their order in before everyone else. Their table was also bigger than ours. Even after telling the waitress that we have to make it to church, our meals were still put on pause for peoples food who came after us. By the time my food came, I did not have time to eat it and had to get it packed. Waitress provided complementary fries but this was of no use as being packed it is now soggy. I was understandably upset as I was not able to eat until 2 hours after church. I am never one to ask for extra treatment, only to just not be a lower priority...
