The whole experience was magnificent!!!

Rei do Churrasco, and Fausto helped to celebrate our wedding reception by catering the food, and providing a helper to serve the buffet style.

I found them on google, because of the proximity to our reception venue. I read the reviews prior, and noticed an overwhelming sense of confidence from the owner Fausto. My lady and I went to check it out.

Fausto welcomed us warmly, helped us understand everything, and provided a delicious selection to tickle our taste buds and win our hearts.

The food was affordable; delicious, punctual, traditional Portuguese, and hot:

The fish was flattered with a lovely soft coat of batter, and inside the delicate catch. The grilled chicken was incredible!!! The roast beef was gorgeous, tender tantalizing on the cut, with a savoury mushroom sauce. Salad, was fresh and exciting, two types, crunchy and perfectly complimented with spicy and dressings. Rice was juicy and fabulous, by marvelous vegetables plump and steamed. The penne noodles were terrific, married with the light aromatic tomato bath magically. We had to have the Parisian potatoes, and roasted rosemary potatoes as well, just splendid - the outer crust was just tragic to bite into and discover the absolutely vulnerable suave inner potato!!

Now, the piece du resistance, the seafood platter - heavenly, nothing shy of a blessing, each bite and sip served pleasure to my imagination.

We had Rei Do Churrasco cater our celebratory event last night, and they transformed it into something truly unforgettable . From the very beginning, working with the owner, Fausto was a pleasure. He’s a gifted communicator: clear, attentive, accommodating, generous….and deeply reassuring. He made planning the food the smoothest, most stress-free part of the entire process.

On the evening itself, everything arrived exactly on time and was beautifully set up. The service staff were phenomenal: fast, respectful, and completely in control, moving through such a large crowd with ease and professionalism.

And the food… the food…JUST PERFECTION…. absolutely incredible. Every dish was exceptional, no exception! Guests were going back for seconds and thirds, and the compliments kept coming all night. Even a day later, we’re still receiving texts/feedback thanking and congratulating us for such an amazing choice.

This wasn’t just great catering — this elevated the whole event. It brought joy, agreement and gratitude to an entire diverse crowd. Thank you so much Rei team! Can’t...

If your taste buds are shot, your stomach and digestive system is shot….

You don’t mind the rotten fish smell at that place, in your food and your fingers, order there.

I bought the half chicken with rosemary potatoes, garlic beans and carrots with the hot sauce.

Everything was drenched in cheap canola/vegetable oil. Completely dripping leaked through the styrofoam container on to their dirty unclean table. The veggies were complete mush.

The hot sauce was not spicy, but bland, no flavour, 90% oil. Wonder what their mild sauce is like. Couldn’t even tell if it was supposed to be Portuguese hot sauce, or Piri Piri.

I’m writing this while my digestive system is having a hard time trying to process this while feeling bloated. I think I’ll end up with diarrhea by the end of typing this out.

I’ve been to quite a few Portuguese Churrascos (BBQ) ..both franchise and family owned. This one is the worst one I’ve ever been to. Maybe their other options are better who knows.
