Iâve ordered from Freshly Squeezed many times in the past with no issues but this instance was a horrible experience. I ordered the mango juice and received what looks like murky brownish juice (see drink on the left in the image).
When the employee gave it to me, I could immediately tell that something was off about the colour so I asked them to confirm if it is in fact mango juice. The employee said that itâs mango juice and it only looks that way because it was âmade in the morningâ - Iâve received pre-made mango juice at other Freshly Squeezed locations before and it was ALWAYS fresh unlike this one.
Despite me showing concern and dissatisfaction, she didnât provide an explanation or resolution beyond the above response.
I then tried some of the mango juice and could tell that it was old due to a âpruneyâ aftertaste.
Iâve given this review one extra star because I went to another employee after and they offered me a new drink without any hassle, though it wasnât the original drink I wanted (mango smoothie on the right in the pic).
Tell me why the mango juice (drink on left) would be old and premade but the mango smoothie (drink on right) is made fresh?
Iâm going to assume that either management has instructed their employees to serve old premade juice to save costs or the employees themselves have been negligent and did not create a fresh batch later in the day. Either way, it was a poor experience and what frustrated me the most is the fact that the first employee acted like nothing was wrong with the drink when itâs clear that it wasnât fresh. Also I donât understand why my juice came with a plastic lid instead of the usual seal on top that you poke through (I thought maybe this location doesnât have the drink seal but I just saw it in the other reviews).
Just by comparing the two drinks in the pic, you can tell that thereâs a noticeable difference in colour and quality. Why bother serving juice at all if itâs not going to be freshly made. Isnât that the point of âFreshly Squeezedâ? Will not be returning to this location and will advise my family/friends to...
Read moreI've been to this location a few times for their sugarcane juice and nothing particular stood out for a review until recently. There's always quite a lineup here especially the times I'm visiting which is never an issue. After placing my order for the sugarcane juice on its own I waited at their pickup corner for approximately 5 mins longer than I typically wait. I began to notice that the people who had placed orders after me were being served their drinks. Out of confusion I approached one of the team members regarding my order and she saw to it that my order was made but there was some very unnecessary attitude and faces being made. I think at one point when I wasn't paying much attention she whispered something to her colleague attending the register and they both rolled their eyes at me and I was getting scolded looks from the customer at the register who overheard this definite gossip. I don't care what was said but the mental frustration it caused was enough to feel humiliation from their own lack of understanding and attention to detail.
I heavily questioned my own approach and realized there was absolutely no reason to be treated this way. I simply stated "hey how's it going? I just wanted to know the status of my order" (as I showed my receipt) and I did this in a very casual, respectful way.
When I received my order she intentionally placed it down and shoved it towards me which displayed some aggression I was unprepared for and certainly uncalled for. Despite this, without an apology for the waiting or skipping my order accidentally I gave them a thanks since I won't be...
Read moreWorst experience; the manager is rude without regard for customer service or representing the corporate policy. After waiting in a long line, because only one of the cash registers was being used, the manager took my order, I paid, walled around the counter and then I received my order. My son brought it to my attention that I should get my drink for free, because I didn't get a receipt. He is right that it's stated on the screen at the checkout. Seems like a simple ask, for them to enforce their own stated policy.
I went back around the counter and asked if my drink would be free. The manager refused, saying that "now I am giving you the receipt... You haven't even left yet so you didn't checkout". I said that's not what it says on the screen, so my drink should be free. He then grabbed the drink from my hand and handed it back to me with the receipt! He then said, "now it is a checkout." I demanded that he honor the company's policy, but be still refused and said "you wanna complain, go ahead".
Who does that - reaching across the counter and grabbing the product from a customer?! Freshly ridiculous.
Maybe don't shop here when it's busy. Maybe not at all. Definitely don't expect a great experience; just get your drink and get...
