MUST READ....I ordered through uber eats....noticed right away something missing as all in one bag....order was fried wontons 4 spring rolls 2 general tso chicken & 2 small plain rice....only 1 small rice arrived. So had to call uber unfortunately only options were eat meal as is & would receive credit for missing item (I sure hope so) why would I be charged for something I didn't receive? And if I wanted the missing item from order would have to reorder again myself even though I was put on hold while they contacted restaurant. But was not told had to reorder from same restaurant. When I tried to do so the same restaurant wasn't on any list not by category or even through search with name. So ordered from place closer as now MEAL GETTING COLD....called uber back to give update & now told has to be same restaurant.....so not to pleased with uber AGAIN....had deleted app before....called restaurant they couldn't explain why they're not showing up on app to reorder missing item....Asked if they could resend complete order and we swap as meal cold by now....couldn't understand me as said food was hot when left.....SO ENOUGH OF ME VENTING ON SOME ITEM MISSING.... Half way through our meal my son found MID LENGTH HAIR in one of the spring rolls & he was done....I reluctantly continued only had the same experience with the general tso chicken....so between the 2 orders to have our meal payed almost $100 between uber & bank fees & I have a very sensitive gag reflex so who knows maybe better didn't get...

Wow, what a hidden little gem! You'd never expect this just walking by this restaurant in its plaza location. I only saw the good Skip reviews before I ordered, and I'm glad I did, because these low reviews are ridiculous. I ordered the Pork Fried Rice which was crammed in the container with lots of tasty pork chunks! Clearly the owners do not chintz on the portion sizes. Even my Chicken Balls were exploding out of the box, of which are by far the best chicken balls I've ever had! These things were massive - I can't imagine the size of the chickens these came from! ;p They were perfectly thinly battered with tons of meat in the center, and this was consistent. As a chicken ball connoisseur, these make the Mandarin chicken balls taste like gizzards wrapped in texas toast! They are even better than the famous House of Chan restaurant at almost half the price! The last dish I ordered was the lemon chicken. It too had the sauce separate like the chicken balls, and it looked oddly like a sliced mini French bread. It also was stuffed with huge amounts of tasty chicken. I wasn't a fan of the lemon sauce, for me it needed to be sweeter, but once I poured the sauce all over the chicken and let it soak, instead of dipping, it tasted a little better overall. Although I wasn't a fan of the lemon sauce, the huge chunks of meat more than made up for that. I'll definitely be going back to this restaurant, and it's my new go-to for my chicken ball cravings! Update: STILL the best chicken balls...

I called ‘king asian’ tonight at 8:15PM because of an order I placed almost two hours ago that I am still waiting for and have pre paid. A very ignorant and rude lady working as the receptionist answered the phone and i said “hello I would just like to know what is going on with my order because I ordered it almost two hours ago” and she replied not by speaking but by YELLING at me and telling me it isn’t her problem and that I should contact skip the dishes instead of her restaurant. She yelled at me saying that all she does is make the food and that I shouldn’t be calling her. I can not believe how disrespected I was during this phone call. She hung up on me and when I called back twelve times she never answered. She is a completely unprofessional, rude arrogant and ignorant human and she should be fired. I have never in my life wrote a review about anyone from any line of work UNTIL TONIGHT. COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL BUSINESS. I will tell MANY people that live locally around that restaurant. She messed with the...

I’ve been a loyal customer of this restaurant for years, so I decided to order from their catering menu this Christmas. Unfortunately, it was a complete disappointment. The Cantonese Chow Mein was extremely dry and bland, but the worst part was finding two pieces of steel wool in the chicken wing tray. I spent over $200 on this order, and their idea of compensation was a mere $15 off my next party tray—a response that felt dismissive and unacceptable. The quality of both the food and the service has declined drastically, and I can no longer support this establishment. Moving forward, I’ll be taking my business to East Gate or any other Chinese restaurant.

A quaint little neighbourhood restaurant - you *must* try the sweet and sour Chicken Balls. They're available in a combo meal, or by themselves. A heavenly treat! I can't praise them enough. Make sure to order the sweet and sour sauce - it comes on the side, as an additional item. Don't miss out! Chicken balls! Chicken balls! Chicken balls! I first found this place 20 years ago, and it's still a going concern. Again, did I mention the Chicken balls? (See photo: Chicken ball combo meal comes with 4 chicken balls, fried rice and chop suey, and an egg roll. Don't forget the sweet and sour sauce, an additional item that comes on the side!)
