McDonald's — Restaurant in Mississauga

I want to share my recent experience at this McDonald's restaurant. The drive-thru can be quite challenging to navigate due to its narrow design, requiring a skilled driver to enter safely. Unfortunately, when we placed our order, we noticed that one of our sandwiches was missing. We had also requested to have the ice left out of one of our drinks, but it was included anyway.

By the time we got back to our hotel room and discovered the oversight, we didn’t feel up to driving back across town to address it. I completely understand that fast-food restaurants can get extremely busy, and it can be tough for staff to manage all the orders perfectly. However, it would be wonderful if they could pay a bit more attention to details when taking and distributing orders.

This experience has certainly reminded us to check our orders before leaving the drive-thru in the future. On a positive note, the restaurant was clean, with no litter in the parking lot, which is always encouraging to see. This is a typical McDonalds that is conveniently located on Dixie and hwy401 area in Mississauga. This location is open 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. Food and serve time are typical and good. The only thing I would like to complain about is that, the employees are Indian, but relax that is not what is bothering me, the reason why I am complaining about this is because it is not polite or appropriate that the employees are talking in their language making you feel as though they are talking about you and laughing at you. As a business owner that is unacceptable to do this in front of customers. Other then that this location is clean and proper with public washrooms that was clean. If you go on a Friday or Saturday late evening you will be surrounded by young people coming out of the dance club just south of this McDonald's location called sugar daddy's. Be prepared for long drive through at this time. The closest McDonald's to this location is very far, south on Dixie and Dundas located inside Walmart. The Walmart location is only open when Walmart is open. Anyways now that I wanted my time typing let me eat...

Absolutely ridiculous customer service care. 3 staff people, talking and keeping the order to themselves. They removed the order from the display even before delivering it. Oh! Really !!!

The person behind the counter was resting her full hand on top of the lid, covering the top where we sip the coffee from.

Please … please hire local, please hire students as you always use to do, please hire people with the sense of customer service, please and please have the people with the common sense on the basics of sanitation. Just mopping the floor is not the only part but also how to handle and serve food. Hire our own people with the Canadian sense of community and our values.

How can you just remove the order from the display, keep chatting and keeping it to your self while keeping the customer waiting.

Should we lower our expectations or McDonald has decided already to lower their standards and this is what it is? I believe neither, just have the right people at the right place, please !
