It was a very bad experience yesterday.... Though we had visited this place 2 times before also but yesterday we had 12 guests(including small kids) visiting us.I had reservation for 12 guest but they gave me very bad spot close to stairs. I requeted the guy on reception to change the place becuase of kids but he refused to give me other spot(half resuturant was empty; i was there yesterday at 6:30pm) and was very rude and unprofessional. I requested to speak with a manager but i was told that there are no managers/owner on the weekend so this place was running by waiters on the weekends, so we had no choice but to sit. AC was not working properly... Food takes forever to arrive. My first order took 40 min and second order which was gulab janman it also took 40 min as well. Bihari kabab was overcooked.Basically my family was responsible for serving plates, tissues and even the food to my family because the servers took no initiative. Four to five waitresses just chatted at the counter and no one was attending our table. The servers were not trained properly causing wrong orders to be delivered at various tables including ours. Also the portion size is very small for the price that is being charged.I had to call out to the waiters 2 times asking for an update on my order. I spent $304.93 for my order yestrerday for bad experience.....Would recommend to not hold any family gatherings here... Your guests will be very disappointed. There are far better options for halal desi food who will respect your business and will be a better value of your money as well.
If they cannot provide good and courteous customer service then they’re not going to last for too long and this is the main reason why desi restaurants close down so often; poor customer service, rude behaviour, lower standards of housekeeping. My advice: Please get some training as to how to run a business in Canada, take a course before investing in any business so you know how to deal with customers. Opening a place is not a hard thing if you have the money but keeping it...
Read moreWe drove all the way from Hamilton to try their Iftar buffet on a Friday. Thankfully, we made a reservation beforehand as the restaurant was packed with easily at least 200 guests. Some walk-ins were being turned away, so I highly recommend you get a reservation. The staff was very calm and thorough navigating the large number of people. We were served a few samosas, spring rolls, roohafsa, water, and dates on the table as we waited for the azaan to be called out on the loudspeakers. They had a makeshift area with mats in the entrance for prayer. Women and men were mixed. But women made a place in the corner. Would really recommend a partition for the comfort of the ladies.
There was a hugeeeeeee lineup for the buffet. And there was just one buffet. I think we got our meals perhaps 40 mins after azaan. The food was spot on amazing! The meals were hot and delicious and were continuously being topped up. There was no shortage, which i was worried about. With the large quantity of people, I thought perhaps the food quality would be reduced. I had tried the food a week prior before Ramadan, so I know it was the same flavor, texture, and everything. The Malai boti is a hit and not spicy, perfect for the kids. The biryani was absolutely delicious, and the gosht karahi was the star of the show !! Gulab jamun is also a favorite. I did suspect the naans were being pulled out of the tandoor a little sooner than they were ready, but overall, a good experience. Next time we will consider coming on a weekday which we were told have about...
Read more1/5, I had a very bad experience here. This is an honest review (as you can see from my google local guide badge 7 and millions of views), I hope that restaurant mgmt will look into this matter closely. Service was great,no issue at all. We ordered Beef Nihari ($12.99), Half Chicken Chargha ($10.99), Butter Naan ($2.00) and Seasame Naan ($2.99). we found hair under the naan in basket, first we ignored it. Then later we saw another small hair at the corner of Nihari bowl. This time ofcourse we had to tell them. They quickly replaced the old nihari with the new one but the damage has been done. Nihari taste was although satisfactory but it was full of extra spices (masalas) as if chef wanted to turn it into Qorma or karhai. I'm the most tolerable when it comes to desi spices so I can tell you, this much spice in Nihari isn't good at all. We ordered half chicken chargha, and they really surprised us.. the portion size was about the quarter chicken as seen from the pics. 1 small piece of leg and small chest piece as if they slaughtered the Quail. Taste was nothing to be like Chargha, it was more like tandoori chicken. I like fresh seasame Naan. But butter naan wasn't freshly made (not tandoori). My advice to mgmt, if you guys really work around on the stuff which I mentioned above, I'd definitely give u a chance one more time and recommend in my circle. Otherwise if you are happy with selected regular customers and no interest in gaining trust of new customers then Its...
