I want you to understand that I support McDonald all over. My experiences are somewhat different from so many others, when my son was born he had to be flown from Toronto to Hamilton because sick kids was full. He was diagnosed with" Apnea " we were in a different city and had to be close to the hospital. Without prejudice we were offered to stay at Ronald mcdonald house.I learned so much about how they help in our community. Now let me bring light to "Raceism" at its higest at this location of McDonald. I work out of Mavis yard for the City of Mississauga,on the leaves program with a Crew of 5 people. We have eaten at every McDonald restaurant throughout Mississauga over a six week clean up and at some places more than others. On the 5th of December we were working in the Erin mills location and we decided to go to lunch at one of our favourite spot McDonald's. I went with my Crew to the restaurant but decided to eat the lunch my wife made me that day. I found out that my fork was missing, so I went back McDonald's where I left the Crew and asked for a plastic fork, the gentleman behind the counter told me that it's 20 Cents, I thought he was joking but he looked me up and down and asked if I was here with anyone, i told him yes and he wanted to know who. I feld very embarrassed by his actions and hoped that if i told him it would stop, so i said I'm here with the guys in the safety vests sitting on the table. He wald out from behind the counter holding the fork and began to ask if anybody knew me.the first gentleman he saw in a vest he said to him " do you know this guy " the gentleman responded no i don't know him. I felt real low a kept a smile on my face hoping it was a joke, I motion that my crew was over their, he ask one of the female if she knew me she thought he was not serious with the qustion and said no. The gentleman turned and went back behind the counter with the fork. I called the attention to his behaviour by asking one of the servers for the manager only to learned that he was the owner. Imagine being in McDonalds at lunch, I am very hurt by what the owner did, the only conclusion I took pictures of the owner by the way I am the only one in my crew...

How difficult can that be to do. Paid at the first window, then proceeded to the second one. Received the bag, & then asked the girl at the second window for a salt & a Mayonnaise and a lite container to use for the fries, since I wasn't going home to eat. When I opened the bag to eat my "Small Fries" to my surprise, there were no fries, but instead a Muffin I tried calling this location a total of thirteen times yesterday and it would ring, with no answer. Which is just ridiculous!! So today I tried calling them again, & still no answer, after trying another five times. So I decided to go back there and actually walk in this time, & speak to the Manager. When I explained to him the problem, he just smiled. And then when I tried to explain the frustration of them never answering their phone, he tried telling that they were probably busy. Then I showed him all of the times that I called (I even called them from the parking lot, right in front of the door, just right before walking, & of course, no surprise, they once again did not answer). I asked him as busy as they were at that moment, because it was the exact same no customers anywhere at all. I told him that I wanted the fries that I had paid for yesterday, so that I would not be paying again. They then gave me the bag, & once again a Mayonnaise Anda little container to put it on. When I opened the bag before leaving to make sure that I was getting what I ordered. And when I opened it, once again, there were "NO" fries, but another dam Muffin. I was not definitely not "Happy" at all. I showed the manager again, and asked they gave you a Muffin again? Finally they gave me the dam Fries, but he decided to give me a medium . The staff there are absolutely "USELESS" and "INCOMPETENT". I wouldn't trust them to feed a Goldfish I obviously will not ever be...
Read moreOften gets my order wrong; crispy vs grilled, wrong dressing, missing salad bits, etc.
(Update 2023: after a few years it's gotten better,, but still messing up 1 in 4 custom orders. Ie: Missing extra patty)
Says 24hrs, but the doors lock at 11pm.
Inconsistent salad quality. (Update: I no longer order salads from them)
Sticky floor that followed me home (update: no longer an issue.)
Typical McDonald's crowd visiting: often inconsiderate, loud, and annoying.
Junior servers/cooks who I trust about zero. Often will wait 5 mins or more for a salad.
(Update: this hasn't been an issue much lately since I don't order salads, but they can still screw up my order)
Has a self serve menu machine; nice, except orders I place often are not in stock. Ie: harvest salad. (Update: machines often out of printer paper, so you don't get a receipt with your number)
Self-fill soda machine is nice. Perhaps one in 5 times it has some problem tho. (Been better lately)
Was given a fork that had the tips melted off during packaging. Unusable.
(Update: Been given the same order twice, while other times I had to ask for my cup. I guess things get hectic at times. I notice it depends whose managing at the time, as some run a better ship than others )
They don't give you your soft drink cup until entire order fulfilled. Way to waste my time. (Still an issue. Often the soft serve also comes with the meal, instead of while waiting for the rest of the meal.)
Drive thru exists, but often long line. (Still an issue years later)
Parking is plentiful.
Limited outdoor seating; no privacy indoors really either. Not a place that welcomes you to stay.
Unlocked washrooms, albeit small, this is a blessing.
Some McDonald's are pretty great. This one is mediocre. ( Upgrading my rating to "okay" , as it's gotten better, but...
