Tried their crepes and gelato in the past and they are decentđŚ Visited last night with a friend. It was pretty busy since all the patio tables were occupied. My friend and I knew we wanted a cake with gelato since that is what we were craving but were unable to locate something on the menu. We waited in line and approached the server at the front taking orders. He recommended what we should get but did not guide us well nor did we feel welcomed by him. He asked us if we wanted the order to go or for dine in, my friend questioned if we would be able to get a table and the server responded with just a âyesâ. After paying and him giving us our table number sign, we walked around the place trying to find ourselves a seat. There was an empty table at the corner of the store where we sat. It would have been nice to have staff at the front to usher guests to their tables instead of leaving people to figure out their own seatingđ We patiently waited for our order of the lava cake with our own choice of gelato on the side. When our dessert arrived, the server just silently placed the plate on the table, put down 3 eco-friendly spoons right on the table and walked away. My friend and I wanted to order some drinks as well but the server did not engage with us, did not ask if we wanted anything else, and just walked away causing us to realize that this place expects customers to go and wait in line in order to communicate with staff. The scoop of gelato on the plate was absolutely tiny for an order of $20. I have tried other dessert spots at this plaza and they are so generous with what they serve their customers - you get what you pay for!! The server left 3 eco-friendly spoons right on the table beside our plate for my friend and I. You arenât giving your customers proper cutlery since it is convenient for you but the least your servers can do is place a napkin under the cutlery they provide for us due to sanitization reasons. We can not even complain to a server cause from where we sat, we could see all the staff at the back talking to each other, and drinking or snacking on their own food + juices. There is no staff at the front at all times which is confusing since thereâs no reason for servers to be at the back. Our order was overly sweet. Made us feel sick. The chocolate inside the lava cake had a burnt taste to it. It is either an old lava cake that they are storing or they microwaved the cake a lot more than they should. I would actually recommend supporting other dessert places nearby in the plaza instead. Please train your servers to engage with your customers and accommodate...
Read moreWe went here for dessert. The dessert was very good and we loved it, however the service was horrible. We were not greeted or told how to order/where to sit. (We didnât know if we could just grab an empty table or had to be seated.) Instead, the staff just talked in Arabic with other diners who spoke the same language after making eye contact with us, although we walked in first. We went up to the register to order for dine in, the lady said we couldnât although we had grabbed a table. She was also busy entertaining/ catching up with another customer during our conversation. I asked her for recommendations, she didnât provide us with any. She just incorrectly answered my question. She told us we couldnât sit at the table, and that another employee would tell us if we could. We were left standing there confused while he went outside, opened the door and vaped. We managed to sit, and got ready to order. I asked for a recommendation in regards to the ice cream flavors they had. Instead of answering me, the server just put the machine in front of me and walked away. I manually put our order in and paid. When our dessert came, the lady who dropped it off only bought 2 spoons although we were clearly 3 people and ordered one item. She didnât bother even looking at us when dropping off the dessert. Just turned her head in the other direction when we said thank you. My friend had to get up and get herself a spoon. The experience just left us feeling uncomfortable especially since we are clearly non Arabic speakers and service seemed to be catered...

Honestly, I have been longing to post a review about this extremely fantastic place. Iâve always had the best experience here but today it was one of the finest! Me and my husband are regular customers and we love to bring our friends and family here. Today, we ordered a karak chai and one melt n dip crepe with a scoop of strawberry shortcake gelato. They served us the chai first and it came with a lotus cookie on side (but we had to wait another 15 minutes for our crepe). We wanted to have both of our items together but as the chai was cooling off, we had to drink it up while it was still warm. We finished the chai but our crepe was not here yet so we reminded one of the staff about it. While giving them a reminder, I asked our sweet host for a humble request. I asked if it is possible to get a refill of our karak chai because we wanted to have it with the crepe but had to finish it sooner as it was getting cold. She smiled at me and in the next few minutes I saw her bringing a fresh hot cup of karak chai and our crepe for us. My heart was and is so happy! Our sweet host was Elham. I will be happier whenever I see her again! Thank you, Elham and Melt n...
