We were a group of four who decided to try this place for the first time on a Saturday night at 1 AM. We ordered the Boneless Koila Chicken, three garlic naans, and one appetizer â Chicken Bihari Boti. Let me list out everything that went horribly wrong: We were charged an outrageous $80 for just these few items. Out of that, $38 was for a HALF boneless Koila Chicken. When we asked the cashier, he gave us a ridiculous excuse: âItâs because you ordered it boneless.â Excuse me? The menu lists Koila Chicken at $28â$29. Charging nearly $10 more just for bonelessâand not even mentioning that in advanceâis daylight robbery. If youâre going to jack up prices like that, at least have the basic decency to inform the customer before finalizing the order. The so-called $38 Koila Chicken was dry as hell. All we saw was some dry chicken chunks tossed with caramelized onions. There was no gravy whatsoeverâit felt like we were eating another dry appetizer. I understand some karahis donât come swimming in gravy, but this wasnât karahi. This was plain roasted chicken masquerading as a main dish. And whatâs worse? After looking at other reviews, the pictures people posted of their Koila Chicken looked NOTHING like ours. Ours looked like the sad, rejected version of whatâs advertised. Basic restaurant etiquette 101: appetizers come FIRST. Not all the food dumped on the table at once. Yet thatâs exactly what they didâbrought the appetizer, mains, and naans all together. Completely ruined the flow of the meal. Speaking of the naansâwe ordered butter garlic naans, but what we got were thin, brittle, cracker-like monstrosities. They were so crisp, they felt like papadums. Try eating dry chicken with something that shatters in your mouthâall of us ended up with cuts inside our mouths from chewing that nonsense. An absolute disaster. When the food arrived, we werenât even given cutlery. I politely asked the server to get us some. He said âokay,â then walked away and went back to cleaning. Never came back with anything. So we sat there, food getting cold, no cutlery, just staring at this overpriced mess. It was late at night and I had no energy to click any pictures which I regret.
At the end, we told the cashier how disappointed we were, and he just couldnât care less. No apology, no acknowledgement. And after reading through some other reviews, I noticed the owner responds with the same copy-pasted, smug replies to everyoneâbragging about their âprideâ in service. Seriously? If you truly had pride, youâd actually listen to feedback, not dismiss it with robotic replies.
This was hands down the worst dining experience Iâve ever hadânot just in Ridgeway Plaza, but in all of Mississauga. Never going back. And I strongly suggest others avoid this place unless they want to waste money and ruin...

This was one of the worst restaurant experiences weâve ever had.
Four of us â including a pregnant woman and one person visiting from out of town whoâs about to leave for another country â came in hoping to have a nice meal together. Instead, we were seated at a dirty table with old dishes still there. No one wiped it down, no fresh water was offered, and a disgusting old jug from a previous table was just left behind.
We asked for water three times â finally they brought it, but only three mismatched glasses for four people.
We ordered our food â no drinks arrived. They brought the wrong naan (plain instead of butter) and we had to keep chasing them for everything. Fifteen minutes into eating, we were still missing drinks and one of us still didnât have a glass of water.
It took five different staff members fumbling around about one simple drink. I had to get up and walk to the counter just to remind them again. By the time it finally came out, we were already done eating â and honestly, after that, I didnât even trust it.
The food itself was tiny, overpriced, and completely underwhelming.
We asked to speak to the manager â they said theyâd âcall her,â but then admitted she âdoesnât care about these kinds of complaints.â That sums up the attitude perfectly.
When it came time to pay ($176 for a disaster), we expected out of basic courtesy that they would at least take off the drinks and the masala fries â but nope. Instead, they were too busy being offended that I dared to point out â very politely â how bad the service was.
I couldâve just directly asked for the manager instead of trying to reason with a bunch of very young boys who clearly had no clue what they were doing. Honestly, itâs not their fault â whoever trained them failed them. I even told them they were doing their best under poor management. An older women came out to tell me I had no compassion, all I wanted was a discount for my more than horrible service for what was a special, you have some compassion!
62% of the bill was fine, they shouldâve thought about discounting the rest. Iâve attached the receipt to reflect why. I even circled what was fine and what wasnât so they could see. I see how this offended them instead of illuminating them how bad their service was. It couldâve been a learning moment.
Instead of any accountability, they made excuses about being âbusyâ â when there were only three tables occupied majority of the time.
This was supposed to be a special meal â it turned into a complete disappointment.
Dirty restaurant. Terrible service. Management that doesnât care. Overpriced, basic food.

Read moreRecently we visited this place and had horrible experience. We were 4 and ordered Koila Chicken karahi (this Karahi absolutely had no charcoal flavour), Nihari, Beef Bihari, and Chicken Bihari boti. None of the food items had any taste. Most tasteless food we ever had. The Beef Bihari was completely Raw and cold from inside. We had the raw Bihari boti in our plates, called and showed the server. He took the dish that had only 30% leftover Beef Bihari. A good amount (70%) of Raw Bihari boti we had already in our plates, as shown in pictures. After making us wait for 15 minutes the waiter came back with the same 30% left over amount of the same raw meat cooked, that he took with him. They didnât replace/ make it fresh with full amount. They just cooked what was left in the dish and sent back. Nearly 70% quantity of the Raw Bihari meat dish was not consumed and left in the plates.
We expected they wonât charge for this wasted dish as it was a big blunder on their part and a waste. To our surprise they added the full amount in the total bill. I asked the lady at the counter that half of this dish was raw and thrown away. She shamelessly says why would we not charge? Mistakes happen it doesnât mean we give it for free.
There are some etiquettes and decorum that are followed by the Restaurant industry. Your mistake ruined our evening. You made us feel awful when we ate the raw meat. Your mistake made us wait for 15 minutes in between the dinner. You made us pay for the raw food that you served. They had the audacity to further charge 15% of gratuity directly on the bill. We paid $160+ for this horrible food with no taste. For this amount we could have easily enjoyed a classy buffet dinner for 4. The behaviour of this restaurant is as if they are operating in some slum in Karachi. You are running a restaurant in Canada, learn the basic rules followed by Canadian Restaurants. Response to the ownerâs reply: Iâm amazed at the audacity of the owner how shamelessly he resorted to absolute lies. You guys did not replace the dish. You only cooked the left over raw portion left in the dish, instead of replacing the full raw Bihari boti that you served us. For your information, Automatic gratuity can only be charged on a table of more than 6-8 people. We were 4 people, still you cheats forcefully charged automatic gratuity. You have deceptive business practices and mentioned 5 people on the receipt. Check the date and time on the receipt that I uploaded. Check your cameras and see we were 4 people on that table. Shame on your cheap tricks !! I would advise customers to avoid...
