I was first to arrive into the shop before a rush of people came right after. I waited 25 minutes for our two sushi burrito orders and realized other peoples (8+ guests) orders who arrived much later than us were being called out before mine. I went up and showed my numbered ticket, they completely missed my order and had no tickets around them to remember what our order was. If we didn’t go up to inquire, I’m pretty sure we would have been waiting for nothing. They had no idea what our order was. It took another 10 min for them to make ours. The lady at cash apologized which I appreciated. I kept quiet even though I was a bit upset we were going to have minimal time to eat before our movie time. It looked like she was training a couple people in the shop.

Once we went outside and sat at the benches to eat I opened my burrito up and I noticed they included alfalfa in my burrito which I can’t have due to health reasons. It also wasn’t listed as an ingredient for the burrito I ordered. We were already running late so I just put it back in the bag and told my partner to eat it later as he was already full from eating his own burrito.

I had to settle for quick fries options at the theatres.

For those who can’t have sesame seeds, just know they top the rice off with it. I was trying to find it in the menu if there were sesame seeds in the burrito I chose as I am unable to eat them. I guess they sprinkle it onto every burrito. I didn’t know until I opened mine. Another reason I couldn’t have my burrito.

I was so excited to eat from here too but unfortunately I wasn’t able to try it. Because of the 20 + minute wait time and wrong topping put into my burrito, I will give this...

I seriously had high hopes for this place, but was left disappointed. I thought Mi'hito would be a good change from the usual place I get my poké craving fix (Corner by Spoon and Fork), but it turned out to be the exact same when it came down to the toppings and taste (EXACTLY the same), with the only differences being the price and the tacos. Mi'hito for some reason has made their prices way too high for what you get. At Corner I would usually get a poké bowl with half tuna and half salmon. However, Mi'hito completely refused that request of mine. They also had a weird system, whereby, although you're meant to order at the station, we still had to write down our preferences for choices and toppings rather than just pointing at what we want. My experience was a bit hilarious. We entered and it was completely empty. Once I place my order, I was just standing there while he began making my bowl. For my bowl I asked for half mixed field greens and half cabbage. But the server had no idea which greens were which. He literally put spinach in my bowl then removed it, and then put arugula in, and then removed it...he did this more than 5 times. So maybe he was new, but I feel like they should've trained him a bit before letting him serve anyone. Same thing again for the additional toppings, where he was just so confused to the point that I just gave up and ended up finding it funny rather than being frustrated. I didn't try the taco, but maybe next time I might. Taste-wise, it was exactly like Corner, which is a good thing. But again, I rather just go to Corner next time as it's cheaper and they accommodate some...

I only get the poke bowl. Yum. You choose your ingredients listed. I haven't tried anything else.

Quick service. They messed up my delivery order 1x before, and they offered 20% on my next order (but I couldn't eat it to my liking and for $19. Xx, it would be a waste and no lunch that day) or come back for a fix. I went back and they gave me a new one. Another time I had 2 orders $38.xx, they put it in a paperbag and it ripped in the parking lot and it all fell out upside down and lids came off and everything fell out onto the ground. And I spilled my drink trying to capture the falling ingredients. One of meals was my boss's lunch so I went back to get my boss's order replaced. I told them what happened and the ripped bag and empty bowls. They said nothing. So I didn't reorder my lunch bowl. I had to reorder my boss's. I asked for a little discount and she said no, her manager would be mad. (While some place would replace it free of charge like Swiss chalet) But she took off $5.

They have long tables to sit at and share with others. No table service.

Staff are professional but could smile more. ...

I was very intrigued with the concept of fusion Japanese food so I finally ordered from Mi’Hito for lunch. I bought the flaming dragon burrito and was definitely pleased by the packaging and the preparation. Upon opening the box, I noticed that the sushi burrito really does have the aesthetic of a traditional burrito but with the taste of sushi. The entire burrito is wrapped in rice and seaweed so consider it more of a an oversized sushi and less of a pita wrapped burrito (that’s what initially thought it would be). The tuna filling and the seasoning was good, it paired well with the avocado, cabbage and spicy mayo dressing. While the taste was decent enough it’s not something I’d buy again. I found that I couldn’t eat more than one half of the burrito. Sushi is bite sized for a reason so that you may experience multiple flavours in one go; you really can not expect the same experience with it being served in wrap. Nonetheless, it was one of the more unique dishes I’ve tried recently and I would recommend everyone try it once to inform their own opinion.

The food is good, I order the rising sun poke bowl about once a month but I’ve noticed over the last year they’re getting cheaper and cheaper with the ingredients. About 8 months ago I started weighing the bowls and I’ve noticed since then I’ve been getting less and less over time. 8 months ago the poke bowl weighed 832g (including the weight of the bowl and lid itself). I noticed for the past few months it started hovering around an average of 750g. I just thought a bowl today and it’s 683g. They used to allow me to put multiple sauces on it, and now they only allow one sauce to put on. The food at least still tastes decent but they’re getting worse and worse with the portion sizes and just like everywhere else the prices have been creeping higher and higher. This pokebowl basically comes to $19 and change after tax, I think price went up around $2-3 over the last year. I honestly prefer eating elsewhere because the portions here are getting pathetic.

Don't remember how I learned of this, but GOD I'm glad I did. If you've had bad fusion food before, let Mi'Hito SL renew your faith. Been here >7x after my first and make it annual and a dating venue. Great jazz, stylish motif, and a menu that has nearly no bad choices (not crazy about the texture of unagi) and a decent selection that u don't need to throw sauce on to enjoy. I think they need to expand their menu to more than 2-3 Mexican prep methods, but the custom topping forms u can fill out save complications in ordering, and like Bubble tea, u experiment to discover YOUR perfect creation. They have regular box sushi for ur guests that aren't adventurous, and crispy fries to split among everyone. Presentation is sharp & yet detailed enough to make me take a picture beforehand, and I don't ever do that garbage.
