As someone with 12 plus years of experience in the culinary world—creating gourmet dishes and curating signature beverages that only a select few have had the privilege to taste—I’ve come to understand food from a place of passion, precision, and patience. My pricing reflects the time, care, and expertise poured into every creation—not just the ingredients. For me, food is not simply a transaction, it’s an experience. A story. A science.

Today, I had the honor of visiting a restaurant whose craftsmanship and culinary soul reminded me why I fell in love with food in the first place. This wasn’t just pizza. This was A Pizza—a dish layered with history, integrity, and flavor that spoke of decades of dedication. After traveling across multiple countries, provinces, and states, and tasting hundreds of interpretations of pizza, I can confidently say this ranks among the best I’ve ever had—on par only with my own mother’s handcrafted pies.

Now, to those who have left reviews that fall short of fairness or insight: I urge you to reflect before clicking “submit.” Unless you’ve run a restaurant for 20+ years. Unless you’ve cooked a pizza that can stand next to this one. Unless you understand the science of palate development, or the importance of quality, fresh ingredients over mass-market shortcuts—then perhaps reviewing isn’t your lane.

Food is subjective, yes. But reviewing food should not be done from a place of impatience, ignorance, or entitlement. The dish I enjoyed today took nearly six hours to prepare—a fusion masterpiece called Ojingzhá, harmonizing Korean boldness with Chinese undertones. Someone once complained about waiting five extra minutes. Perspective matters.

To parents writing, “my kids didn’t like it”—respectfully, that’s not a valid metric. A teenager’s palate is still developing. Their preferences are shaped by familiarity, not culinary understanding. That’s not a critique—it’s biology.

Reviewing food is not just about taste. It’s about context. About effort. About the story behind the plate. A man might appear “unprofessional” because he took a call during service, but did you consider he may have had a family emergency? Did you pause to think that behind that apron is a person who’s been running a restaurant since 1993—who considers every dish a piece of himself?

If you can’t cook better, if you can’t wait with grace, and if you don’t have the background to appreciate the layers within a dish—then be mindful. Your words hold weight, and poorly thought-out reviews can hurt businesses built on sweat, sacrifice, and heart.

Today, the owner welcomed me like family. And that warmth extended to every bite. That’s not something you get at big chains selling preservative-laden, production-line pizzas. That’s not something you measure in minutes. That’s something you taste and feel.

To the restaurant: Thank you for the experience. To the reviewers who see and appreciate the art—thank you for your honesty. And to those who don’t—perhaps take a step back, and try a little humility with your next slice.

With respect, A Fellow Culinary...

A truly unique and excellent pizza experience, 5 stars all around. First time customer, will definitely eat from here again. Called in the order, the friendly staff gave a timeframe of 35-40 min and it was ready at time of pickup. Ordered a large Hawaiian pizza, baked panzerotti, cheesy garlic bread and two of their homemade sauces, their marinara and spicy creamy garlic.

Pro(s): •Generous portions of cheese, pineapple and meat on the pizza •Perfect amount of spices and sauce, nice thin and crispy crust •Massive panzerotti, well-baked and was great with the homemade marinara •Superior flavours unlike chain restaurants, such as this tasty basil-like flavour beneath the cheese on the garlic bread •Spicy creamy garlic has an almost "caesar" flavour with a hint of garlic and a slowly building heat

Con(s): •Hours 4pm-10pm Thu-Sat and 5pm-10pm Sunday - not that much of a con and it doesn't take away from the review score. The place is advertised as "a late night takeout joint" so its hours make sense. It's just so good that it's worth recommending to commuting weekday work friends who don't live in Mississauga

Terrific experience, would...

Best pizza in Mississauga IMO. Fresh ..light and the sauce is perfection. Not too sweet not too acidic..I’m not a sauce guy but this is the best sauce I’ve had. I usually get extra cheese everywhere because places are cheap with how much cheese they put but this extra cheesy was very cheesy! I may have to get just the regular one next time without extra cheese to see how it is. Haven’t tried any toppings but everything seems of high quality so perhaps will get some toppings next time. Gotta try the cheese pie first everyone knows the rules!

You can’t tell by the looks of it but the pie is full of Italian herbs as well and you can taste them. Again, not overdone just the right amount.

Also not a dipping sauce guy but the spicy creamy garlic is sensational. Perhaps I like this place so much because the things I usually don’t care for in a pizza they seem to do really well.

Lastly, excellent homely service. Felt like I’ve known the...

Have you ever wanted to try a pizza made by an Italian who lived in Sicily? This is the spot for you. Jose and the guys at Michaelangelo's make some of the most authentic pies available in north america. Having come here over 30 years ago, he's been feeding people in Meadowvale since getting here and hasn't let the quality change since starting. While the price may be a little higher than the big box boys, the value is still there as the food simply tastes better and leaves you feeling better than eating the processed garbage frozen trash pizza that people make at home. "It's not dijourno, it's De garbage. " You can do better, life is too short for bad pizza. If you are tired of the same old franchises that taste boring and use poor toppings Treat yourself tonight, Eat here and support a small buisness who survived thorough many hardships on the quality of it's food and the kindness of it's staff. i'd give 6 stars if i could.
