SK and LN like vermicelli noodles (402. grilled lemongrass beef and deep fried pork spring rolls vermicelli noodles). I like 111. curry goat vermicelli noodle soup. Sauces - SK likes the chili sauce (asian style with chili flakes) the most over sriracha sauce.
1st order: Ordered the 605B beef and rice noodle stir fry (flat rectangular noodles, my favourite) with black bean sauce + added 1 piece basa fillets. Both tasted amazing. I love their fried fish. Future, consider ordering 2 of these as a side meat. Also had the grilled lemongrass chicken/pork/spring rolls (fried extra crunchy - love it) vermicelli noodles with extra meat. Also tasted amazing.
2nd order: Had the crispy beef with vermicelli noodles. I didn’t like this as much, personal preference. I don’t like the fried meats. And vermicelli noodles are meh. I’d rather have the flat rice noodles.
3rd order: 605B Ordered the beef and rice noodle stir fry (flat rectangular rice noodles, my favourite) with black bean sauce + added 1 piece basa fillet. Tasted amazing. This is SK’s favourite order.
4th order: Ordered 2 beef pho’s from here for SK and LN. Number 201, and number 210. They arrived with thinly sliced beef, on top of the usual veggies, with the soup broth packaged on the side. It came warm (wasn’t piping hot but that’s typical) and then I just microwaved the soup broth to get it piping hot. Poured it over the raw meats and veggies and noodles, and it tasted great. Fantastic pho order. Then I also ordered 2 sides - pork cutlet and basa fish fillet. Both tasted great. Fantastic Vietnamese flavours. Future consider ordering all 3 meals for family from here (3 phos with a side - and try their lemongrass chicken).
5th order: Ordered 2 beef phos (210 and 201) and a side of pork chop and lemongrass chicken. I like pork then chicken than fish, but I don’t really care that much. LN feels very strongly for fish, then chicken, then pork lost. So future family orders, get fish and either chicken or pork every time. Chicken tasted great. Nice Vietnamese lemon/lime flavours and pork was tender and juicy and flavourful.
6th: had the 432 curry goat noodles. Tasted delicious. Love the curry goat flavors. Had the 210 noodles great as usual. Then had the 400 pork cold noodles. Didn’t have enough sauce. Future should give double the sauce for this dish.
7th visit: got the 823A beef stirfry with lemongrass. It was OK, but not what I was expecting. I was expecting stirfry with noodles. There’s no carbs in this dish. It was just beef and onions and bok choy. The actual dish tasted mid. Would not order this again.
8th order: 406 ordered vermicelli with grilled chicken, grilled pork, and deep fried spring rolls. Tasted great for LN and SK. Continue ordering this style or vermicelli in future.
9th order: Ordered 111 curry goat vermicelli noodle soup (loved the curry goat flavours), 605 beef rice noodle stir fry with black bean sauce, peppers, onions, scallions (just ok), 606c chicken rice noodle stir fray (just ok). 3 dishes for 3 people was enough. Then ordered 402. grilled lemongrass beef and deep fried pork spring rolls vermicelli noodles cuz SK said we ordered no vermicelli noodles for her. SK and LN liked vermicelli noodles the most
Will continue ordering from here. Soup dishes are great and non-soup dishes are also great here. Fantastic...

I live close by so I normally choose this location. Although I've encountered miscommunications at this location due to main staff not knowing English (e.g: person answering the phone) I couldn't even get clear answers if there's animal derived products in my fried tofu, even asked in person and still didn't get a clear answer. Other than that most of visits have been good. However my recent visit seriously put me on edge enough to write a review. I ordered a 23A (hot and sour soup, this soup can be requested to be vegetarian) and so I wrote vegetarian option on the paper clearly. The soup comes with egg in it and so I told the waiter and he asked if I would like a new one and I said No as I do not like wasting food and if this was an honest mistake then it is what it is, the waiter never apologized or anything and just walked away. I finish my soup and I had 3 other people around me and found 2 hairs in my soup that only showed up at the bottom of the plate... I showed it to my friends and they all saw it, we called the waiter and showed it to him, I only pointed out 1 hair that I found, I didn't mention there was 2, he started playing around with the hair in my plate and moved it around and said 'ok I'll come back and tell the kitchen' again, no apology, just walked away. Later he brings a woman and the woman said ' could you show me where this hair is?' And looked at the side to see the guy kept the plate back next to me. I looked in my bowl and saw the hair WAS GONE. Yes, GONE. The black 1 inch noticeable hair from the middle of the bowl.. GONE. And so she came next to me and I said, 'well it's not there anymore, I think the guy before removed it' she said ok, came back and said 'he said he didn't touch anything'... well I said 'he himself was touching it in the bowl and acknowledged it was there' little did they not know is I didn't mention the 2nd hair I knew was there, so I pointed to that and said 'well heres ANOTHER one, that's also another hair' she was looking for it and I pointed EXACTLY where it was. And she looked annoyed and said 'ok I'll give it to you for free, would you like another one?' I said yes, she said real quickly 'sorry about that' took the bowl and walked away. No sincerity at all, no genuine concern for unhygeinic food, and no appreciation that you made a vegan/vegetarian customer eat something out of their diet and I spared you the cost of throwing the dish away. And on top of it, they wanted to pull a fast one on me? This was a disgusting experience and so many flaws in one day from hygiene, customer service and catering to specific instruction for the meal. Pho mi at Meadowvale, your restaurant needs to learn how to apologies properly and know that customers don't deserve to eat hair and be dealt with poorly, rudely while being TRICKED just because you don't want to be caught guilty. That was seriously a low blow and shows your decorum. You showed 4 people that day the schemes y'all potentially pull just to seem right. I love your location, ive encouraged team dinners, friend dinners and family dinners here, which makes you guys money, but this experience was just BAD BAD BAD & I'm happy to share with all of them...
Read moreThis pho mi has been our favourite for almost 15 years, food is always fresh, people are very friendly and the taste is just so good. We ordered for take out today and this is the first time that I was disappointed by their beef egg noodle stir fry (608B) the noodle amount was way less than how we usually get it and it had less meat than before. I don’t know if there’s a new chef or something or if it’s because of the pandemic but I am hoping that this is just a one time thing. The wonton egg noodle soup (107) is superb as usual (dip your noodle soup in hoisin sauce for extra flavour) and I love how they separate the soup and noodles; that is why I still have 4 stars for the review. Still highly recommended!
Update: (July 3, 2022) I’m making my review a 5 star now because the food has gone back to more portions. We also ordered the lemongrass grilled pork with rice (521) which has a very delicious marinade and char taste, pork is always tender and rice portioning is just rice, the veggies are so good too, pickled carrots and radish, cucumber and tomato. We also ordered soursop shake, my goodness, the freshest fruit shake you’ll ever have, it’s not too sweet and you can taste the freshness of the fruit. Its the perfect consistency, not watery, It’s very refreshing for a hot summer day like today. Highly...
