Paired with a lentil soup that was a magical blend of tender lentils simmered to perfection in a fragrant broth, enriched with a medley of vegetables and aromatic spices, each spoonful offered a comforting and hearty taste that warmed the soul and nourished the body! Should you find yourself in Mississauga craving good Iraqi food or simply a good time with wonderful service, AlBashawat is the place to be. From my go to place for Mediterranian Iraqi cuisine to Never ever going to get food here. This place has become terrible. The quality of kebabs has dropped and prices gone up. My last order for 2 skewers of beef kebabs( menu price $3.50) the lady charged me $11.30 with taxes. When I checked she responded the prices have gone up to $4 per skewer. Still the order didn't add up. She told me the sauce she added to my order was $1.55 ( I mean really). Do the maths and she is still off on the price for $9.55 + taxes. I didn't complaint and paid her what she asked and left with my order. While eating the food, I realized the kebabs were uncooked from inside. Sure you guys have suffered in Covid but now to make up your losses by scamming people and even though you charge more you don't take ownership of the quality you serve? This attitude is a classic example of just making money from people and not building long term clientele. Food quality control should take action against such restaurants and really shut them down. Bashawat Iraqi Grill is a hidden gem in Meadowvale Park! The food is absolutely delicious, with authentic Iraqi flavors that are hard to find elsewhere in the area. We tried the kebab platter, it was huge and everything was cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and full of flavor.The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxed meal with family or friends. The outdoor seating with a view of the park adds a unique touch, making it a great spot for a summer meal. Highly recommend Al Bashawat for anyone looking to enjoy some delicious Middle Eastern cuisine in Mississauga!

PS: While placing the order on the counter, the lady is an Arab lady, she is very sweet and hard working! Only Coke and Pepsi, some Orange soda (Fanta) are available as cold drinks, there were limited choices of beverages which was compensated by the delciously pickled veggies. The overall experience...
