Alf hana truly understands the art of shawarma-making. Their extensive menu offers a wide variety of options, from traditional chicken and beef shawarmas to vegetarian and even vegan alternatives. Read moreAlright listen, I’ve been eating here monthly for the past 3 years, sometimes even weekly. I started eating here because I found the quality of their on-the-sticks/rocks to be consistent with great tasting chicken and hot crispy fries. I have told all my friends in Mississauga to eat here instead of Lazroz and Osmow’s as the quality was undoubtably superior. However, in the last 2-3 months specifically, the quality has declined. My last 3 orders have had UNDERCOOKED fries - after the first time it happened I specifically asked for extra crispy fries to ensure they were cooked. I tried this as a written note on Uber eats and in person verbally. I don’t know if it’s new workers who are inexperienced or overworked existing employees that need a break but the care for quality is absolutely not there. It really saddens me writing this as this was my favourite restaurant in Mississauga until recently. But after receiving unsatisfactory food 3 times in a row even after asking for and even writing basic instructions, I will certainly not be coming back to eat at Alf Hana. I hope that this restaurant can make a comeback, but it’s clear they need to care a lot more about what they’re doing to be successful. Currently looking for the next best shawarma spot in Mississauga because...
Read moreI was driving by the mall today and I decided to stop and see what I can grab for lunch.
I have seen this Shawarma place before next to Dolled Up Cupcakes. Shawarma it is then. It has been a while for me so why not.
The place is a mom & pop local business so that is good. The service was friendly and efficient. There were several other people dropping in while I was waiting for my order. Luckily my order was completed so I quickly got the hell out of Dodge !!! Otherwise there was going to be a congregation of people just waiting for their food. I don't know what the maximum amount of people are allowed at any given time.
I got the Large Chicken Shawarma combo with fries and a pop. It came out to $10.52 after taxes. The price is quite reasonable.
The shawarma tasted good and the toppings were fresh and crunchy. The combination of sauces for me was just right. As far as shawarmas go, it was quite tasty and fresh. The portion was good for a large order.
It was a good choice for me because I couldn't decide what to grab for lunch today.
Batter up..swing...and a line drive double into the gap in centre field.
Give it a try everyone and let us know...
