Pita Pit — Restaurant in Mississauga

I came for a pita on my 30-min break from work. There were no employees out front when I walked in. I could see them through the small window in the door, just standing there talking. It took me 3 minutes to get their attention, which didn't really bother me to be honest. I was young working part-time once too, and 3 minutes isn't the end of the world. But when I paid for my order, I noticed the guy shorted my change by a dollar. I informed him of this, and he gave me the correct change. After this, he asked me if I "saw the jar beside the cash register" and asked me if I knew what "Pita" spelled backwards was. I said, "a tip"? And then he continued to just stare at me as if I was supposed to tip him... After he just made me feel like an idiot trying to get his attention, and then shorted my change (which I HOPE was an accident, and not an intentional attempt to tip himself from my change). Overall, poor experience. Which is a shame, because the owner/manager is actually the nicest man and I...

LOLLL went to get lunch and got robbed instead. Paid $53 on debit when the bill was $51 I left a tip of $2. My payment went through on their machine but on their IPAD didn’t show the order was processed I pulled up my banking info and also called my bank to confirm if the money was taken out or not. It was. I even showed them the proof as I logged in right Infront showing them the time and amount of the transaction. The girl serving me was no help, then the owner was no help either, asked if I wanted to pay again in cash or debit and I said I wasn’t paying again when I had already paid for food im clearly not receiving, didn’t even get a refund. The owners response to me had me laughing when he said “I don’t even know if you actually bought something here because your total was $51 and your bank statement says $53. Last time i EVER come to this place again!!!!! P.S I can see why this place is always empty has they scam their customers then act...

Just stopped here on my lunch break and had a fantastic experience. The pita was toasted perfectly loaded with fresh ingredients, it tasted like they had just picked the spinach. Unbelievable lunch!

The staff were extremely friendly, especially who I believe was the owner with a new trainee. He was patient and knowledgeable with her, taking his time to explain each step and encouraging her throughout. I want to work there after an experience like that. The person who made my food did a fantastic job loading it with ingredients and did a great job wrapping it so nothing would fall out. There was another customer in the restaurant that it seemed to be her first time though and everybody was very patient with her while she made her order.
