Poke Poke — Restaurant in Mississauga

Took off 1 star for the food because they were missing Masago, Nori, and Spicy mayo. Other than that, the food was really good.

Had a really weird experience, we walk in, and the younger girl working there was in the back, she walked out, looked at us, and was just dead silent and stepped backwards back into the back. She was very strange, and rude the entire interaction, she was talking on the phone the whole time, absolutely silent. Luckily I knew exactly what I wanted, I'm not sure if she's not comfortable speaking but it was the most awkward and unfriendly service I've ever received. She wouldn't even respond when we said thank you. Plus, charged $30 for a large salmon bowl with 2 sauces, 2 regular toppings and 2 premium toppings,& an Arizona tea. She was so rude and unfriendly I felt she overcharged as the receipt was not itemized I have no way of knowing. She said her name was Cindy Shikyu, 5:30pm august 1.

Happy about the food, but the service was really poor and missing toppings and seeing that's commonplace makes me not...

I usually order delivery and am usually satisfied with my orders, but this time I wanted to try ordering ahead and picking up since I was already in the area. we got there at the time that it was supposed to be ready and no one was at the counter. a few minutes later, someone came out from the back and said "give me a minute, guys". we waited for what seemed to be the employee preparing orders hurriedly. we didn't mind since we enjoyed the decor at the front.

we waited for about 20 minutes (after the order was supposed to be ready, which was + 20 minutes) until another customer came in and asked for their order. at that point we immediately asked for ours as well which turned out to have been sitting there for a while and is now cold (we ordered rice). why we had to wait for our order for that long is unbeknownst to me and I'm not sure I'll be returning in person again, which is a shame since I've been ordering from this location...

Went around 1PM on a Tuesday during soft opening. There was no one at first, however by the time we paid there were around 3 other customers waiting to order.

Staff were very helpful and informed us of which Signature Bowls were the most popular as we were looking through their menu. I went with the 'Build Your Own Bowl' ($12.95) option which by the time I got around to eat it was probably not the best choice unless I wanted to add a variety of toppings ($1~1.50 each). Next time I will definitely try out their Signature Bowls instead . There are also various garnishes and sauces you can include in your bowl as well. They accept cash and credit.

Please be aware that aside from the couches on the side that seems more for the aesthetic/photography opportunity there is no dining area...
