This review is meant for the owners and managers... I wish I could give less than 1 star.

I hate the tablet ordering system. I hate the lack of interaction with any employees. I hate that I can see the staff on shift meandering about with no sense of urgency or service. I learned way too much about the servers and their drunken escapades because I was an unwilling member of their conversation.

There was one good dude working, an older guy with very short grey hair (sorry, but I didnt get your name). He actually tried to be helpful and answer questions, but was shut down and sent elsewhere by another employee (supervisor?). He was the only person who gave a thought to the people sitting at his bar.

The tablet method... I get it... it's supposed to save labour and speed up service. But people are stupid... it's hard enough to flip through a menu when you're tired Nd cranky. Why can't a server just come up and say, yes, we have wings and beer. They're coming. Our stay was at least 50 to 60 percent longer than it had to be because of the stupid tablets.

If you are running a real business, that should be important to you, because you are not flipping seats. In fact, you're encouraging people to rent your seating, decreasing your profitability. Meh... 29 years in hospitality. What do I know.

Since I'm already ranting, the tablets are offensive in how you have chosen to load them with pay to win games... sure, they say "free" but that's only for a spin or two. I worry about the people who are creating Accounts on your devices... also, half the tablets in our area did not work and required the staff to help make them functional. How are you saving labour? Btw... totally over staffed.

Prices were stupid and gouging. There are very few licensed outlets in that area of Pearson and you are taking advantage of people who want to relax. Seriously... 20 for a 6 oz glass of wine (which the server carries with her fingers inside the rim), when the bottle only costs 14.95 at the LCBO. we looked it up while waiting.

You took our 70 dollars for two beers and a poorly cooked pizza. This isnt a warning to others, because they will see the problems immediately, but buy from you anyways because you have a captive audience of tired travellers.

I just want the operator to know that what you are doing is very, very poorly implemented, Leaves everyone with a bad taste in their mouth, is many scales less profitable than it could be and is an overall embarrassment to the service industry. Please change this... it's very bad.

Though I will probably have you another 70 bucks my next...

So, imagine you're stuck in the airport for 2+ hours waiting on a connection. And your option is ... This.

Most of the bar chairs are bolted down, which is, at minimum, very inconvenient. I couldn't sit down without touching the person next to me -- some muscled guy watching hockey -- and that I'd really rather not. My stuff went to the floor in front of me, as there is no other option AND not even the option of hanging anything on your stool, as there is no back on it. Since I wanted to use the charging station, I had to... Crawl under the table to pick stuff. You know. Uncomfortably close to other people... And not even to their shoulders.

It was over 1h before closing and there was a hockey match on. I wanted some Collective Arts beer, but they had run out... And clearly either couldn't or couldn't be bothered to open the next keg. Since, again, I had a long wait .. I chose something else.

Then comes the paying system that is just silly. The tablets are slow, and there's no reason not to do it on your phone, really... But I wasn't given that option by my server. Who, btw, although an adult male could pass for the ~caring is so last year teenager. Also when I was given the tablet to pay the first time, value - including tip - had already been added... Which is very convenient when your service is super bad. When I got my second I did get the chance to choose it, but that's too little too late.

Either way, doesn't seem worth it. If there were any other options around, they'd be really dead...

The craziest payment system ever! :-/ No option for debit/credit card terminal or cash payment. Need to pay before ordering. Scan QR and navigate menu, select items and then pay. Apple pay, paypal or ‘Credit card’. I found this slightly intimidating… I used a European debit card and it worked. Also, this seems to depend on accessing internet from a Canadian AS or the airport wifi. Don’t make me F- around with my usual phone network settings or jump through a wifi captive portal to make a transaction that would normally be quite simple.

Seriously, why add friction for the customers, especially ones from outside North America, surely lots of missed business.

Chairs by bar are attached to the floor. The distance is perhaps less comfortable for the more svelte among up.

Otherwise the beer selection was good. I enjoyed the NEIPA. The salad was ok, as described.

Horiible system, staff ignore you until you put your hand up then they tell you you have to order and pay with the QR code. This is not stated anywhere, staff just ignore you. First thing the app is asking for is tip percentage, absolute joke this place. Lady beside me asked to pay with cash and has been additionally ignored for 20 minutes. This place takes all the fun out of traveling and drinking/dining. I was held up waiting for them and then digging out my credit card from luggage and getting past all the questions on the app...I didn't have time to eat. I finally got a beer after 25 minutes of run around and I witnessed 8 people walk out because of the ordering system.

As others have posted in their reviews this corporate decision to use a QR code, fill in all your personal information, your address your CC number and THEN have tha audacity to ask for a tip on top of their already expensive beverage choices. Are you kidding me??? I don't mind using my CC to pay as that's why we have a chip in them to use the gap feature. Not to mention at an airport people are between flights and want a quick beverage or bite but this foolishness of jumping through so mamy hoops to give them your hard earned $ is ridiculous. You're better off bringing your hard earned $ elsewhere and let.them go broke.
