I have been to this location a few times and quite like the ambience and space, and also the patio. This location is generally quite nice but it seems they are quite short of staff on the weekends, and quality of drinks and services are definitely affected. I was keen to try the new blonde americano and asked the cashier about the differences with regular americano but she didn't really seem to be bothered to explain much. Note: there wasn't actually a line though the room was full of customers. I also ordered my americano in a mug, and so I waited for quite some time and there came my americano in a paper cup because the cashier forgot to mention that it should be in a mug instead until I reminded. So my cup of thin-crema americano was then pour back into the mug but was already half cold when it came to my hand. This $3 blonde americano honestly taste like Tim Hortons to me. If you plan to try this location, better choose a weekday instead. And definitely staff needs more training.

📍 Starbucks – 5029 Hurontario St, Mississauga I’m a loyal Starbucks customer and visit almost daily. But last Friday, I had a very disappointing experience at this location. I bought two coffees and a pastry at 10:44 AM. Since I had my young child with me, I sat in the car as usual. Around noon, I returned to ask for the restroom code. A white female employee with blonde hair refused and told me I had to make a purchase first. I explained I had already bought something earlier that morning, but she still said no. I then spoke to a Black female employee who was rude and raised her voice at me, also insisting I had to buy something now—even after I explained my earlier purchase. She said since I had left the store and returned, I had to buy again. I felt disrespected and shocked. I understand store policies, but the way the staff spoke to me lacked basic courtesy and professionalism. This is unacceptable from a brand like Starbucks. I truly hope the management addresses this behavior.

Love Starbucks but this was the first location I’ve ever been to that informed me that my beverage will not be filled up to the top of the cup after I requested less ice. I’ve been going to this location for some time now and this was the first time I’ve been notified of this … absolute nonsensical policy and corporate needs to look into this. I’m done going to this location and hope this doesn’t become a consistent theme across all locations as there are multiple coffee shop alternatives available that do not enforce these greedy policies. UPDATE: For anyone who has experienced this (seems like a lot) please visit https://customerservice.starbucks.ca and complain about this specific location. You’ll likely get a refund on the purchase and more importantly, get feedback sent to this specific location as it seems it’s just this one store imposing this policy.

I recently started to go to Starbucks, and in the last two months I’ve been three times. And all three encounters resemble what happened to me on December 8. The previous encounters the staff insisted that they don’t sell decaf coffee, or were extremely reluctant to brew decaf coffee, we’re very insistent that I do it their way, and have a cup of decaf espresso making it easier for them.

On December 8, I very clearly specified what I wanted, which was a tall decaf coffee with one pump of peppermint and two pumps of mocha made with almond milk. So basically, the mocha peppermint Christmas holiday drink, but made with decaf coffee and almond milk instead. Again the cashier was surprised and stated that they don’t have decaf and I was like yes you do, you just have to brew it. They told me that it would be at least five minutes to brew and I said yep that’s okay. I was standing on the side and noticed after 5 minutes had gone by they still hadn’t even started to brew my beverage. The Starbucks was not busy at the time they had four cars in the drive-through and one person waiting in the store and had six people working. After 15 minutes of waiting, I go speak to the barista and asked how much longer and they said that the cuff was only 60-65% full. I said to them that was fine just put the milk in it and I’ll be on my way. When they added the milk, the beverage that they handed me wasn’t even warm it was barely room temperature. It was so cold. I spoke to them and said, did you not steam the milk? Their response was no. And then I spoke to someone who I am assuming was the manager. She stated that it’s not in their practice to warm the milk. (since when is it practised who serve someone a cold cup of coffee) I was like every other time I’ve come here they’ve steamed the milk. Every other Starbucks I’ve ever gone to and order this beverage. They’ve steamed the milk without even me mentioning it. she then proceeds to state that if I wanted it that way that I should’ve just ordered a decaf espresso as it’s the same thing. I corrected her and said no it’s not the same. That a cup of decaf coffee that I ordered will only contain 2-5mg of caffeine compared to the 13.4mg of caffeine that is in a decaf espresso of the same size. The manager had a great deal of attitude but to her credit she did offer me a refund.

Each and every encounter showed me and including the manager in this previous encounter, all trying to greatly insist that I do it their way versus what I wish to have, which is a decaf coffee. Very insistent that it’s the same being told that it’s the same when I am very well know that it’s not. I’ve also done research on this matter but I also have a medical condition where it doesn’t really allow for me to drink coffee or consume caffeine. It’s a very rare instance where I do and it’s only ever when a doctor says that I can. I went 13 years without consuming coffee and finally when the doctor has given me a degree of wiggle room to consume it, I chose to go to Starbucks, which is probably the mistake number one on my part. But my family loves it and they always insist that the beverages there are better. But for the amount of money that you pay for these drinks with a cost 2 to 3 times more than Tim Hortons. You would think that the service would be better. But the audacity the staff to insist that I do it their way, which is to use the decaf espresso because it would make their...

Starbucks Everyone knows about it. This is the same as all other outlets of Starbucks. This place is within walking distance from my home and I enjoy walking and having a cup of coffee. As I am a vegetarian, I can only order drinks, almost all their products that are available contain egg. So, I would like to highlight this point to everyone who is a vegetarian and want to eat something at any Starbuck, kindly ask them first. As far as my experience goes, they contain eggs. This location is right on the intersection of Eglington and HurOntario. Ample parking is available and they also have a drive-through, you can also order by phone and pick up the order via a drive-through, no hassle. During summer at this location, they have outdoor seating as well. As the weather is good a lot of people enjoy coffee chit-chat seated outside under umbrellas. Because of the location and view outdoors this place is unique. The rest of the details and stuff remains the same. Staff is friendly and courteous, know the menu well and server you without any delay. I have also noticed that sipper and other cups that they are selling are actually very expensive. If you compare them to any other store or marketplace. Still...

Never had an issue with any Starbucks or with this location until now. I've been a member with Starbucks for about 10 years. Itold them that today is my birthday & I'd like a free drink. I showed them proof that it was my Birthday today. They asked me are if I am a member for the past few years, I said yes. Then they asked if I had purchased anything from the within the past few days or weeks, I said yes & showed them my purchase history on the app. Finally, they asked if I had received an Email confirmation that it was my birthday. Are u kidding me? I have never received any Email confirmation or whatever type of Email from Starbucks saying I have their permission to get a free Birthday item...unbelievable. The woman with pink hair & the woman with short hair are not compassionate nor nice. Let alone not understanding. They said i had to call customer service over this stuff...well, doesn't matter now cuz I'm fed up of how everything only gets worse at Starbucks. Basically, all i got was a Happy birthday but we don't care despite me showing them proof & answering their silly question. Worst location & service I've ever experienced at...
